- Building a steam engine from castings. The Stuart Number Nine Engine is one of the most beautiful engines made by Stuart Models. It is also one of the more challenging ones to build. I am documenting my attempt to build it. I'm not an expert so there will be plenty of mistakes along the way, but hopefully we will get there in the end!

Good to see you back John 👍 🇬🇧
I do love a good steam engine build! I'm sure you'll keep us thoroughly entertained.
Hi - good to see you posting. I will be enjoying this build. Cheers.
This is going to be good. Now that you're finished gadding about the countryside, we'll get to see some more "stunt milling" 😂
Regards, Preso
Haha thanks for watching! I definitely won’t paint it grey.
That's a very beautiful model. I'm sure you will turn it in to a gem.
happy to see you back John, a fixture plate might make work holding of the base and body easier and give you horizontal and vertical capabilities on the mill, cheers!
Thanks Phil. I was thinking that as well. I have a big lump of aluminium which might do the trick.
@@CreaseysWorkshop don't we all love big lumps of Aluminium gotten on the cheap. cheers mate
its getting exciting!
Haha, thanks for watching!
you need to make jigs. to hold down the job so it won't jump out
