Thanks for the tutorial! I've got a 5 yr old plant that I bought for my room when I went to university so its pretty sentimental. I've got some rooted propagations just in case it ever dies so I can keep its family tree going 😂
So, I'm to understand these propagate about the same as most other succulents? Carefully pluck leaves, allow to dry and scab, lay on soil and spray occasionally until I get roots and a baby plant? I'm a little baffled at how easy succulents are in general haha. Thank you for the video.
I took a leaf pulling from the bottom of my large plant and it had some roots still attached. I did sever the leaf with a fine blade so will it still need to dry out for a few days or can I plant it right now?
I have tried to root these leaves and have been very patient for two weeks but nothing has happened I have at least 20. Do you or anyone else that sees this have a good way to root the leaves?
@@MegaJimbob125 you don't have to..Once the root starts it draws all the moisture from the leaf..If you do anything you can moist with a water bottle..Wish I could up load a picture as I'm always propagating my Jade plant..
@@brendasimmons1639 Amazing thanks for the tips. So.. When the roots do come out do then cover them with soil or still leave the roots to find their own way down?

yes, similar to other succulents.
But after come out the roots, push them into the soil.
And don't let the water dry.
I was doing it wrong the whole time I put it straight in the sand like I a tree
But now I know how to grow new ones thank you for the tutorial :)

Thank you~ I love this plant too!!
Have mine layed out. Someone told me they don’t leaf prop. Almost tossed out..
It's possible enough. Try yourself too. Thank you for watching my video. ^^
I've tried this with gollum they just keep turning black and rotting. I live in TN. Have it in house
Don't water too much from the beginning.
When the soil dries, sprinkle water. And when it grow up, you just need to water more.
Thanks I almost killed mine plucking hahaha
hahaha
What if the tips are turning brown after you pluck them?
HORRIBLE - NO instruction on WHEN and HOW or IF to water!! ... USELESS - THUMB DOWN!
More details please! Ie how long to dry? How much water? When?
It takes 3 hours to one day to dry. And don't give water directly but spray sometimes.^^
merci merci merci!!!!😋🥰🥰
👏👏🌹Very beautiful my friend 🍀🌷🌹 JM Adenium 🥰🇧🇷🙏🙏🙏...🌹

Could you make an update video?

It can be planted without drying for several days.
However, it is best to plant it in dry soil and stabilize the roots before spraying with water.
Do you put them in the soil or do you just let them lay there?
Do you spray with water or leave them just like that?
No you do not directly spray the water. But water the soil.

add 6 more week and you will have babies ... just FORGET about them and look in a month:):)
It can literally take months sometimes. Just leave them alone & they will do what they are supposed to. It takes patience & LEAVING THEM ALONE. Lol
My leaves don’t want to be pulled off. I keep breaking them, trying to pull them off. Can I carefully cut them off with a fine blade at their base?
yes it is possible But be careful not to damage the stem.
just spray the soil? kinda how many times in a day ?where to put em? can put indoor or need the sunlight too?
Initially put in half shade. And, after stabilizing for 10 days, it is good to expose it to sunlight. It's good to put it in the window by the sun.
@@HouseplantsLife How many times do you water it per day?
Can you lay these on any surface to root like a wood table ect
It passable first but soil is better i think.
How often you watering these babies in this step?
Spray once every 1 or 2 days with a spray

is it going to grow if it is not a clean cut?
The leaves must be cut so that the growth point is alive.

Youve got to use fast forward. Lol.
Pretty sure you're meant to stick them in the soil.
Actually you dont..Lay on dirt..Roots will form and attach to the dirt..After awhile the leaf that was propagated will shrivel up..Pretty cool, right?
Heck you don't even need to lay on dirt..I lay them on my window sill till roots then I put in the dirt..
