All I care about is the ever elusive Fallout 4 next gen update.
The next gen patch was delayed for bereavement time when the patches mother was in a car crash.
I care about the show too but lole bro...a little communication on the patch would be really nice😅

It's a great sign when it's greenlit very shortly after release but you are right. Before feels odd.
They would have had test views and gauged the audience's response from them to see if they had a winner or not.

I'd actually laugh if they made it look like someone was walking and then clipping through the floor only for a character to investigate and see its just a sudden ramp or decline that you couldn't make out from a distance.

I want the full fallout 76 experience. With my TV bursting into flames the moment I try to turn the series on.
Season 2 is confirmed because of the test audience and the investors liked what they saw and green lit it immediately. Walter goggins announced that it's coming out a day early as a thank you tribute and the director wants to get it out and done with as fast as possible so he can go back to working on Westworld.
Westworld is still around? Thought that show ended years ago.
@@RealBradMiller it was on hold because the western town film set they were using burned down and covid. The director stated he's wanting to make the next Westworld. I'll have to look up the source again but it's available online from him quoting.

If it ain't a remaster or the next gen 4 update, I can't say I'll get excited. They've been using the marketing to push 76, of all things smh.

Good , fallout 76 is not bad at all. Honestly I rather this gives 76 the push it needs to put out significant updates . In all honesty if they did big map additions I would pay for those . Then get the smaller updates for free

As a fallout fan, regardless of how it goes, im stoked. Bringing new people into the franchise just increases the likelihood of fallout getting more game attention. Maybe if this brings in a good profit, MS will want to hop on amd give obsidian another go while Bethesda focuses on elder scrolls
Unfortunately, franchises getting more popular is rarely a good thing for established fans. It’s why we got Fallout 4 and 76. Typically the newer fanbase gets targeted instead, often to its detriment. Think Mass Effect, FFXIV, Warcraft, Elder Scrolls, CoD, Game of Thrones, Marvel, ect ect I could go on all day.
Obsidian tried pitching other games to Bethesda such as outer worlds (Which is actually better than starfield) and Todd told them to do one. They'll never work with him again and they'll never remake new Vegas

Have to be honest this really concerns me. This is right out of the Rangs of Power playbook.
Send a bunch of "influencers" to an all expenses paid meet and greet with the cast and show runners in an actual vault. And notice most are small channels, so they feel obligated to give a good review to keep future access. Then they do not talk about anything but how great the sets are and how nice the people were.
Then they drop all the show at once, which they do not do normally.
And Nolan only did the first two episodes before the Portlandia and Marvels writers take over.
Then "announce" a season two, just like all those Star Wars movies that have been announced. This is PR speak to build hype.
Almost no promotion.
Release early to prevent bad reviews from leaking and to get more time for watch minutes before the end of the month, drop all the episodes at once to boost watch minutes as well for PR headlines.
Hope it's good, but all signs point to Amazon knowing it's a dumpster fire.
Exactly the same playbook as Rings of power. Alot of these Bethesda fans apparnetly didnt have lots of crossover with the starwars and lord of the rings fandoms otherwise they would see all these red flags

tv shows aren't anything like they once were, no longer are we going to get the full seasons, instead they are barely even half a season anymore.
I haven't done another playthrough of fallout 4 because what's the use of doing another playthrough when it's just going to crash all the time.
I really hope we get this next-gen soon I have so many ideas.

I’d love if each season told a total story for the characters involved but with overall world ties to each other. They can even have characters reappear, but I’d like it if the major plot points all wrapped within a single season. Aside from just preferring TV that works like this, I really don’t want to get into characters and plots that could be canceled before finishing. A second season being confirmed is awesome, unless the first season relies on there being multiple seasons to answer its questions. Because that gets iffy. Especially if they start relying on more seasons.

guess i'll play Fallout 4 all day until the show starts. been a while. Hearing the show is going to California, think if I was part of that cast and they said "hey we're doing next season in California. Let's Go!" Think I'd have to say "Yo, it's been fun, but I'm out."
We've gotten Fallout 76 DLC, two Magic the Gathering Fallout product launches, and now a whole TV series in the last month - definitely the most active Fallout cycle ever, and we'll probably never see such a burst of Fallout related activity again. Savor the moment, folks!

So a garbage game's DLCs, a card game that most fans don't play (And I am an avid tabletop player when I say that) and a TV show of undetermined quality. Quantity does not matter quality does, especially when the only thing that is actually relevant is the TV show because I as sure as hell don't consider Fortnite 76 to be Fallout.
I genuinely hope the TV show is good, it has the people from Westworld working on it so either it will be fantastic or flop big time, just like Westworld lol.

I’m really hoping this show is good. And a good representation of fallout. It’s one of if not my favourite IPs and i want to show it to my girlfriend and am trusting this show to do fallout right and get her hooked.
The show runner is going to have to install the "nvac" mod so the first 8 episodes don't crash. When Bethesda updates the show to "season 2" the "nvac" will have to be updated too. 😂

Why would there be supermutant behemoths in California? West Coast supermutants don't work like that. Supermutants either took the pardon from the NCR and became citizens or went with Markus and left California. Super mutants are not roving bands of Sci Fi orcs on the West Coast, they are the few remaining genetic lab rats of the Master from over a century ago.
If anything what I would hope they do is include a supermutant ranger for the NCR like they planned for New Vegas but cut from the final game.
There is no Behemoths on the West Coast, if they are in the show, Bethesda is even more ignorant of the lore than trying to force BoS back into the west coast.
Please be careful, you do so much for us. Another Chanel sounds great but it's more work and you work so much already.

I did not think that I would have to potentially wait 2 decades by time I'm 30 for a 5th entry. I was 9 for fallout 3.
I’m cautiously optimistic about the Fallout series, from here it looks as if they’ve gotten the vibe right. Fallout 4 was my first Fallout game, and it’s still one of my top 5 games of all time. I’m meh about the update - I mean, it would be nice, sure. But I’m more excited about Fallout London. I’ve considered buying a gaming PC just to play that.

Fallout is about politics though. The most beloved fallout game New Vegas is literally the most political Fallout game made. You literally debate politics with several faction leaders. You can win the final boss by exposing how his ideology doesn't work.
I don't know how you can look at a faction like the enclave and go "Fallout isnt political" Fallout 2 barely hid how it mocked Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, and Bush I's administrations...

It has always been progressive and wanting to show a more hopeful future and world. Think about it for a second: If "Season 2" was a thing, they wouldn't have dumped all eight episodes at once and they would NOT have rushed the release date. Amazon would have released it episodically like "Reacher"--a good show a lot of people liked, On second thought, never mind. I hope everyone enjoys the show.

Remember when the "creations" update came for Skyrim? Everybody thought the Fallout 4 next gen was around the corner. I hope this show is great but it's a bad sign that they are releasing all episodes at once. Amazon really hates the all at once model because keeping interest in shows by spacing the episodes out is something they feel keeps engadgment up.
