Warlocks need their own unique varients. Maybe more demons to control, why not train in demon controlling or something? Warlocks just feel less and less useful as these games go on. Legion is probably the last chance any old-time warlock can get some sweet skills. I say, give warlocks the ability to fly alone with wings and alter their now copied skills to be original. Call them Devastation and Blood Coil or something. Sorry rant over.

Karmanade Have you played Portal Stories: Mel? It's a fan made free to play portal game that is actually really fun and interesting. It's definitely the hardest Portal game in terms of puzzles with about 10 hours of content and amazing story.
Mikey Roguish I started playing Portal Series:Mel and I found it way too hard. I got stuck on nearly half the levels, and I also found the new sphere guy. I knew his voice sounded familiar, but did they really hire Pewdiepie to voice him? The answer is yes, and if you hate Pewdiepie for no logical reason other than the fact he has an annoying voice and is too rich and his fan base is preteens, then you will surely hate this mod too. I want another Portal game, voiced by someone I don't have a hatred for, and is actually doable without cheating.

Pretty sure the DE only has Ground Zeroes, The Phantom Pain and DLC. I doubt it would also nclude the scrapped story parts that got lost during the "fight" between Konami and Kojima

The Dark Souls Shiva quest was inspired by a very similar quest in Demon's Souls, where a npc will try to kill you regardless of wether or not you gave him the magic sword Makoto. Talk about rehashes. Also Priscilla was supposed to be some sort of hero character or at least assisting, like the Maiden in black in Demon's Souls or the Emerald Herald/Shanalotte in Dark Souls 2.
***** bioshock 1 was amazing with the atmosphere bioshock 2 was alright because there were not as many interesting locations as the first 1. Infinite was like a breath of fresh air. A whole new world to explore it was great.

"Dressed up as clowns in order to steal artwork..." It's possible that was cut because of the similarities to the game PAYDAY. A game in which you go on various heists and what not. Just a possibility. I agree that Valve missed something cool when they cut the Adhesion Gel from the game. It was possible to get the purple gel to paint the map in Hammer, but it didn't do anything. As of the Peer Review DLC it was replaced with a fully functional Reflection gel used to reflect lasers. That gel is white, and was also cut from the Peer Review DLC. Adding both the Adhesion and Reflection Gels for map makers to use for custom maps would have been great at least. As for the paint Fizzlers they do still exist, and many map makers in the Portal community have made good use of them.

The reason the removed characters from Minecraft were removed wasnt any of the reasons there,there was an employee in Mojang who created the characters but he was either fired or left the company,taking the rights to the characters with him,and that forced Notch to remove the characters to avoid copyright issues.
South Park Stick of Truth was massively gutted. Those are literally my 2 favorite game series, but I am glad that the Soul Reaver ending allowed for Defiance, that was a fun game. And also I wish that the Black knights roamed around Lordran as originally intended. that would be so much cooler rather than knowing the exact location of every enemy.
PSA That KOTOR 2 was updated on steam and all previously cut content can be added as mods including better ending, HK factory, lots of dialogue, and an entirely new cut planet +1
Destiny was an ok game but The Taken King DLC just made the game complete shit. They took away 90% of the things you were able to do before the DLC and pretty much made an entirely new game. I got rid of my copy of Destiny because I couldn't really do anything without "Re-buying" the game. In my opinion, all they cared about is the money they could take from us.
Already stopped a while back. From the beginning i already thought that 2 small DLCs weren't gonna be enough for a game that wants to be an MMO so i knew the season pass was gonna be a rip-off in a certain way. Stuck around a little bit once The Dark below released because by then all you could do with the vanilla game was PvP because every PvE'er moved on. Untilllike 90% of every PvPer started using the Thorn. Was done with it at that point. Occasionally returned untill the announcement of the 40$ The Taken King. Sold my copy and never came back.
Actually you can find out what the wall walking in Portal 2 would have been like; it was based on a game called "Tag: The power of Paint" that was developed by some students at DigiPen. You can download it for free from the DigiPen website. I was disappointed that it was left out of Portal, it was pretty cool.

In infinite the boys of silence were originally suppose to act as security cameras that would look for you, and I cant even begin to tell you how excited it was when I heard that....but instead they just got dumped in the asylum level and pretty much looked like a last minute thing, it was a real shame since they had so much potential :/
As much as I know, Fable also had many different content taken out. Pretty much all of its version. Though there is also a difference between the content that they promised and that they managed to deliver at the end.
you messed up on the dark souls part. the undead king was meant to be the boss of new londo ruins and thus replacing the 4 kings. the one being the counter chosen undead is Oscar of Astora. Shivas Black eye orb invasion actually still works if you cheat his black eye orb in. You can use it in the painted world where the phalanx are and fight him and his bodyguard there.
Every time I see DD has uploaded a video I try to guess who is voicing it. I guessed DD's brother...I was wrong, but Hellbent would have been my second guess.
Another piece of Lost content from Destiny has to do with the script: A lot of the dialogue in the initial game had a more humorous personality and was written mostly by David Cross and an associate of his. For those that don't know, David Cross is an actor mostly known for the role of Tobias Funke in Arrested Development
16: GTA IV's map (Liberty City) was originally supposed to be "Liberty State" surrounded by forests, hills, etc. (Much like GTA V) but the idea was scrapped probably due to current software limitations and/or time constraints and R* decided to make the city densely populated islands.
BioShock Infinite went through quite a few vision changes during development. I think most of the changes were made to tell a more compelling story though.
A lot of these ideas sound quite impressive, but how many would have worked out in execution? The original Quake sounds quite ambitious, perhaps more so than anyone could have managed well at the time, so you shouldn't assume that all the content is cut because of laziness or a desire to get the games out for the holidays.
the minecraft sky dimension being replaced by the end wasn't done because they were cutting it but rather because there was wildly popular fan made mod for it that already existed so instead of just doing the same thing and basically replacing something fans made they made the end, so its not really cut per say but more like has an alternative since you can already acquire the mod for the "aether"
I hate that Shiva in the game has to be barely a merchant and not "Shiva the Traitor" i love the audios where he goes crazyXD, but what i do really hate, is the fact that Artorias has quotes refering to its friends and Sif, and some other things, that cuted audio gave me such feels ;_;
Remember Splinter Cell Conviction? I still remember the first gameplay trailer was absolutely different from the actual game. As far as i remember the trailer showed fisher as a fugitive in civilian clothes and you don't have any special items except the owns you made. It was also an open world. The game was kind of like borne made into a game. I was quite surprised they redone the whole game. If i remember correctly someone did say it was like 80% complete or at least above 50%. Anyway there's speculation that many assets on that game were used in Watchdogs.
Oscar, the now unnamed knight at the start of Dark Souls, was never Undead King Jar Eel as far as I know. But you're right that he was set to have a bigger role taking the opposite path you did at some point in the story. Jar Eel was actually an ancient powerful Darkwraith who Ingward would have you defeat as a test before he'd give you the key to the seal so you could fight the Four Kings.
I wish to nominate dragon age Inquisition from being able to decide which focus the keeps you capture would have to having to sometimes choose between defending the keep you captured or the village under its protection and depending on your choice you lose access to any quests or items in that area. the fact that was cut really bummed me out

The RPG thing with _Quake 1_ wasn't so much a "cut content" thing as it was a case of "1 half of the dev team wanted a fantasy RPG & the other half wanted a sci-fi shooter & they compromised by making the end product a combination of the 2". Other games with cut content that looked better were Kameo Elements Of Power. The original for Gamecube, and eventually Xbox were intended to have 50 warriors Kameo could take control of, and some even started off as babies, which evolved later on in the game. Kameo also had the ability to turn certain enemies into playable elemental warriors, and even make npc allies out of them. She also had a little dragon sidekick named Meepo, who was originally intended to have a heavy role in the game's story. Kameo's sister even had her own evil dragon sidekick. There were more areas, and transformation types and abilities, including being able to have characters with electric attacks, the ability to fly, and the ability to climb freely. In the end, Microsoft rushed Rare, and practically made them remake the game 2 additional times, just for it to release on the Xbox 360. In the end, only 10 elemental warriors were playable, and the other intended features were sadly scrapped. Rayman Raving Rabbids: Originally known as Rayman 4: Raving Rabbids, it was originally supposed to be an adventure platformer. The original Wii trailer showed stunning imagery and gameplay of a 3d platformer. Although most of the content in the trailer made it into the final game, they were now in the form of mini games, instead of being an adventure game. The game would have even had a combat system like in Rayman 2 and 3, where you fought hoards of Rabbid Minions. I liked the final game, but it would have been a much better game if they kept the platforming adventure elements in. They should have made the Wii version a mini game collection, but make the PC and Xbox 360 version the platformer, instead of making every port a mini game collection. Pokemon Battle Revolution: The original teaser footage showcased the use of actual destruction physics from the Pokemon attacks. It showed the move hyper beam still going after hitting an opponent, and we saw the blast burst into a stack of steel crates in the background, which caused the steel boxes to burst to the side with an explosion. Although the final game still kept the feature of seeing evenly sized Pokemon physically run across the arena to attack, the destruction physics on the other hand did not. Maybe a new Pokemon HD Battle Simulator for Wii U or the NX can make this feature a reality, along with some battle damage effects, like burn marks, sludge, frost, soaked surface, grass stains, etc. Banjo-Tooie: The 2 player feature known as Devil Bottles, where player 2 could take control of a near by enemy, and mess with player 1, while on their journey. The Xbox Live rerelease even hinted at the possibility of it returning, but upon release, they confessed they left it out, with the excuse of wanting to leave it more like it was on the N64 release. What a jerk move Microsoft...
But Dolan... Bethesda didn't work on New Vegas. :/ And KOTOR 2 was the same issue - Obsidian being naive about accepting a short deadline for a game requiring much more time to do justice. What you could have mentioned is that there's a mod that re-covers a LOT of the cut content, as well as a fan-made version of the HK factory planet. And... I'm pretty sure G0T0 (Goh-Toh*)'s dialogue about revealing itself as a droid is in it. I certainly remember the dialogue the last time I played.
I say they should make another Spore, one with all the content it was intended to have. It'd be pretty fantastic with all those stages. I don't know about the realism, the cartoon style looks nice already.
The cut content from Bioshock Infinite still makes more sense that what we got. Don't get me wrong, what we got instead was good but it always felt like it was missing something.

The Dark Souls Shiva quest was inspired by a very similar quest in Demon's Souls, where a npc will try to kill you regardless of wether or not you gave him the magic sword Makoto. Talk about rehashes.
Also Priscilla was supposed to be some sort of hero character or at least assisting, like the Maiden in black in Demon's Souls or the Emerald Herald/Shanalotte in Dark Souls 2.
If Infinite was actually still horror-related I might have actually enjoyed it. Honestly, it's ridiculous how overrated that game is.

I agree that Valve missed something cool when they cut the Adhesion Gel from the game. It was possible to get the purple gel to paint the map in Hammer, but it didn't do anything. As of the Peer Review DLC it was replaced with a fully functional Reflection gel used to reflect lasers. That gel is white, and was also cut from the Peer Review DLC. Adding both the Adhesion and Reflection Gels for map makers to use for custom maps would have been great at least. As for the paint Fizzlers they do still exist, and many map makers in the Portal community have made good use of them.
destiny in a nutshell: lets make a game, cut it into little pieces, then sell it back to you in 6 parts, then do it all over again for another 5 games! isn't that fun guys? and before the hate rolls in, i still love the game, its fucking awesome, but they could of handled it better.

The reason the removed characters from Minecraft were removed wasnt any of the reasons there,there was an employee in Mojang who created the characters but he was either fired or left the company,taking the rights to the characters with him,and that forced Notch to remove the characters to avoid copyright issues.

Those are literally my 2 favorite game series, but I am glad that the Soul Reaver ending allowed for Defiance, that was a fun game. And also I wish that the Black knights roamed around Lordran as originally intended. that would be so much cooler rather than knowing the exact location of every enemy.
PSA That KOTOR 2 was updated on steam and all previously cut content can be added as mods including better ending, HK factory, lots of dialogue, and an entirely new cut planet +1
Destiny was an ok game but The Taken King DLC just made the game complete shit. They took away 90% of the things you were able to do before the DLC and pretty much made an entirely new game. I got rid of my copy of Destiny because I couldn't really do anything without "Re-buying" the game. In my opinion, all they cared about is the money they could take from us.

Already stopped a while back. From the beginning i already thought that 2 small DLCs weren't gonna be enough for a game that wants to be an MMO so i knew the season pass was gonna be a rip-off in a certain way. Stuck around a little bit once The Dark below released because by then all you could do with the vanilla game was PvP because every PvE'er moved on. Untilllike 90% of every PvPer started using the Thorn. Was done with it at that point. Occasionally returned untill the announcement of the 40$ The Taken King. Sold my copy and never came back.

Actually you can find out what the wall walking in Portal 2 would have been like; it was based on a game called "Tag: The power of Paint" that was developed by some students at DigiPen. You can download it for free from the DigiPen website. I was disappointed that it was left out of Portal, it was pretty cool.

In infinite the boys of silence were originally suppose to act as security cameras that would look for you, and I cant even begin to tell you how excited it was when I heard that....but instead they just got dumped in the asylum level and pretty much looked like a last minute thing, it was a real shame since they had so much potential :/
As much as I know, Fable also had many different content taken out. Pretty much all of its version. Though there is also a difference between the content that they promised and that they managed to deliver at the end.
you messed up on the dark souls part. the undead king was meant to be the boss of new londo ruins and thus replacing the 4 kings. the one being the counter chosen undead is Oscar of Astora. Shivas Black eye orb invasion actually still works if you cheat his black eye orb in. You can use it in the painted world where the phalanx are and fight him and his bodyguard there.
The GTA heist with clowns involved MIGHT have been cut because it and Payday had too many similarities.

Every time I see DD has uploaded a video I try to guess who is voicing it. I guessed DD's brother...I was wrong, but Hellbent would have been my second guess.
Another piece of Lost content from Destiny has to do with the script: A lot of the dialogue in the initial game had a more humorous personality and was written mostly by David Cross and an associate of his.
For those that don't know, David Cross is an actor mostly known for the role of Tobias Funke in Arrested Development
16: GTA IV's map (Liberty City) was originally supposed to be "Liberty State" surrounded by forests, hills, etc. (Much like GTA V) but the idea was scrapped probably due to current software limitations and/or time constraints and R* decided to make the city densely populated islands.
BioShock Infinite went through quite a few vision changes during development. I think most of the changes were made to tell a more compelling story though.

A lot of these ideas sound quite impressive, but how many would have worked out in execution? The original Quake sounds quite ambitious, perhaps more so than anyone could have managed well at the time, so you shouldn't assume that all the content is cut because of laziness or a desire to get the games out for the holidays.
the minecraft sky dimension being replaced by the end wasn't done because they were cutting it but rather because there was wildly popular fan made mod for it that already existed so instead of just doing the same thing and basically replacing something fans made they made the end, so its not really cut per say but more like has an alternative since you can already acquire the mod for the "aether"

Remember Splinter Cell Conviction? I still remember the first gameplay trailer was absolutely different from the actual game. As far as i remember the trailer showed fisher as a fugitive in civilian clothes and you don't have any special items except the owns you made. It was also an open world. The game was kind of like borne made into a game.
I was quite surprised they redone the whole game. If i remember correctly someone did say it was like 80% complete or at least above 50%. Anyway there's speculation that many assets on that game were used in Watchdogs.
Oscar, the now unnamed knight at the start of Dark Souls, was never Undead King Jar Eel as far as I know. But you're right that he was set to have a bigger role taking the opposite path you did at some point in the story.
Jar Eel was actually an ancient powerful Darkwraith who Ingward would have you defeat as a test before he'd give you the key to the seal so you could fight the Four Kings.

The RPG thing with _Quake 1_ wasn't so much a "cut content" thing as it was a case of "1 half of the dev team wanted a fantasy RPG & the other half wanted a sci-fi shooter & they compromised by making the end product a combination of the 2". Other games with cut content that looked better were
Kameo Elements Of Power. The original for Gamecube, and eventually Xbox were intended to have 50 warriors Kameo could take control of, and some even started off as babies, which evolved later on in the game. Kameo also had the ability to turn certain enemies into playable elemental warriors, and even make npc allies out of them. She also had a little dragon sidekick named Meepo, who was originally intended to have a heavy role in the game's story. Kameo's sister even had her own evil dragon sidekick. There were more areas, and transformation types and abilities, including being able to have characters with electric attacks, the ability to fly, and the ability to climb freely. In the end, Microsoft rushed Rare, and practically made them remake the game 2 additional times, just for it to release on the Xbox 360. In the end, only 10 elemental warriors were playable, and the other intended features were sadly scrapped.
Rayman Raving Rabbids: Originally known as Rayman 4: Raving Rabbids, it was originally supposed to be an adventure platformer. The original Wii trailer showed stunning imagery and gameplay of a 3d platformer. Although most of the content in the trailer made it into the final game, they were now in the form of mini games, instead of being an adventure game. The game would have even had a combat system like in Rayman 2 and 3, where you fought hoards of Rabbid Minions. I liked the final game, but it would have been a much better game if they kept the platforming adventure elements in. They should have made the Wii version a mini game collection, but make the PC and Xbox 360 version the platformer, instead of making every port a mini game collection.
Pokemon Battle Revolution: The original teaser footage showcased the use of actual destruction physics from the Pokemon attacks. It showed the move hyper beam still going after hitting an opponent, and we saw the blast burst into a stack of steel crates in the background, which caused the steel boxes to burst to the side with an explosion. Although the final game still kept the feature of seeing evenly sized Pokemon physically run across the arena to attack, the destruction physics on the other hand did not. Maybe a new Pokemon HD Battle Simulator for Wii U or the NX can make this feature a reality, along with some battle damage effects, like burn marks, sludge, frost, soaked surface, grass stains, etc.
Banjo-Tooie: The 2 player feature known as Devil Bottles, where player 2 could take control of a near by enemy, and mess with player 1, while on their journey. The Xbox Live rerelease even hinted at the possibility of it returning, but upon release, they confessed they left it out, with the excuse of wanting to leave it more like it was on the N64 release. What a jerk move Microsoft...
But Dolan... Bethesda didn't work on New Vegas. :/
And KOTOR 2 was the same issue - Obsidian being naive about accepting a short deadline for a game requiring much more time to do justice.
What you could have mentioned is that there's a mod that re-covers a LOT of the cut content, as well as a fan-made version of the HK factory planet.
And... I'm pretty sure G0T0 (Goh-Toh*)'s dialogue about revealing itself as a droid is in it. I certainly remember the dialogue the last time I played.
I say they should make another Spore, one with all the content it was intended to have. It'd be pretty fantastic with all those stages. I don't know about the realism, the cartoon style looks nice already.

The cut content from Bioshock Infinite still makes more sense that what we got. Don't get me wrong, what we got instead was good but it always felt like it was missing something.
