The block thing in Mario is wrong. If you keep reading the manual it states that the ones that give you powerups are the ones that are the citizens of Mushroom Kingdom. Those cannot be broken.

Where are you getting 64 points from for the N64 logo? I only count 48. 4 corners on each yellow, top & bottom, make 32. 4 corners on the diagonal slant of the N, x4 sides, makes 16. 32 + 16 = 48. Maybe if you counted some points twice as being part of 2 separate triangles, but individual points are 48.

I counted. 4x outside full N faces (like the big blue and green ones) 8x square horizontal faces (you can see four yellow ones at the top) 8x sloped rectangular faces on the top and bottom of the diagonal section of the N's (like the red one at the front left, green at the back left, and red on the underside at the front right) 4x inside incomplete N faces (like the blue face at the back, which continues behind the front left red/green cross bar That makes 24. 64 vertices? No again! 16x on the top (four for each yellow square) 16x on the bottom 16x for the inside acute angles of the N shapes That makes 48.

IRaymusI I dunno.... For that to be the case, the inner angles of the N's would all have to be at the same height. It looks to me like the acute angle on the right side of each N is slightly lower than the the acute angle on the left. Also note that you need to take into account the perspective. Maybe it's an optical illusion, but the blue and green N's look like slightly different shapes.

It seems that if you construct a real logo it's best to leave them at slightly different hights and that the animation is a bit inaccurate in general. Number one makes sense, considering in Super Mario Bros. 3, the hills have eyes, and so does a lot of the background. I don't think the blocks Mario breaks are Toadstool people. I think they comprise the ground levels, castles, ? blocks, and secret blocks. The Toadstools don't shatter; Mario just punches them in the face a couple of times until they pass out. It's more of a mugging.
I'm not going to state the science behind it but his legs weren't cut off because of G-force. they were cut off so when they do run on land they run fast as hell.

regarding halo - it was not changed to a FPS when Microsoft bought Bungie; after the major Mith 2 recall. Employees at Bungie kept wanting to get the camera closer to the characters which lead to them changing it to a 3rd person shooter - you can see this in Mac world footage of the game. Later they changed it to FPS when they had issues with the camera transitioning from outside to inside environments. The scope of the game was made smaller once Microsoft told bungie that halo would be a lunch game for the xbox.

The Final Fantasy one is actually false. It was explained in a dev interview that Square simply wanted a game that had the initials as their main franchise because "F" is the 6th letter in the alphabet and 6 has something to do with the mathematics of a square. In fact, they even said that they weren't accepting of the name "Final Fantasy" being the name of a new game at first, especially during their financial crisis as they figured everyone would assume this very scenario.
So, what this means is that, Square fully intended on FF being a huge selling franchise with multiple installments.

Number one makes sense, considering in Super Mario Bros. 3, the hills have eyes, and so does a lot of the background. I don't think the blocks Mario breaks are Toadstool people. I think they comprise the ground levels, castles, ? blocks, and secret blocks. The Toadstools don't shatter; Mario just punches them in the face a couple of times until they pass out. It's more of a mugging.
