Despite greatness and unique characteristic of preludes book 2, it seems to be underestimated than other Debussy's works. Live performance was so rare to listen it, thanks for uploading!

There are so many details/nuances about Debussy's Book II preludes that get lost on recordings. So awesome to see a live performance of it, made totally effortless of course by Hamelin, but any pianist knows how hard these pieces are!

I received great pleasure: what bright and multifaceted images were presented. Fine work!

Les Terraces des Audiences sounded really lovely, refined and impressionistic, and no.1 was lovely. I don't particularly like the Samuel Pickwick one as a piece but Hammelin played it well.
Canope, a lovely piece, sounded very good.
However, I didn't especially like his performance of the beautiful Ondine prelude. I think he reduced it to being a virtuosic piece, and the arpeggio runs at the end were certainly not sift enough. I think the piece should last just under 4 minutes, not 3 minutes. I don't know no.11 well, but I suspect he played thar a little too fast as well. But some very good points in it.
Feux d'artifice was stunning and very exciting, and Hammelin really brought out the fireworks. I haven't listened to his performance of nos. 2 to 6 yet.
