You have dudes pulling out of shows for various undisclosed, arbitrary reasons, special invitations being issued, US based bodybuilders who don't even have a passport to try and mix it with Europeans, et al...And then on the complete polar end of the spectrum; you have Samson: who competes more frequently across all geographical locations than anyone else, who has such passion and dedication that even being locked in a Korean hotel for 2 weeks (circa 2020) doesn't deter him from competing and working towards his goal. If anyone deserves to be Mr. Olympia on objective merit alone, it is him. It is no surprise that he has been awarded the best physique in the world in 2024.

Agreed, well said. Samson is just a man of no excuses, hard work, no talk, no BS, just may the best guy win. And through sheer utter hard work he brought up his weak points over the years, climbed the ranks, climbed the placings, and now nailed the ultimate in BB. WELL DONE, SAMSON! CONGRATS!

Mr. Douda is proportionally inferior to every other competitor. He should have placed last. Douda's shoulders are like 5 feet wide. The thickest legs on earth wouldn't create balance with shoulders that wide. The Mr. Olympia contest is nothing but a politically correct organization among other media. It's less and less about athletes performance.
