- Christmas Day is a great day of rejoicing, when families and friends get together and presents are given as a sign of the love that we have for each other. This is a symbol of God’s love for us who sent his Son Jesus Christ into the world to redeem us - there can be no greater gift!

The Solemn Eucharist on Christmas Day begins at 10 am and will be led by the Bishop of Truro. The service will contain the traditional readings, congregational carols and carols sung by the cathedral choir. All are welcome to come along and to begin Christmas Day celebrations in this special way. Booking is not necessary for this service.
The cathedral is at the heart of Christmas, with festive events and services (including live-streaming), and free entry to all who visit. We rely on public donations at Christmas, and throughout the year, to continue to offer sacred space and common ground to our community. Please give what you can this Christmas to help us continue our essential work and pass on what is precious to future generations.
To give regularly by Direct Debit, please use the Parish Giving Scheme. Single donations can be made through JustGiving.
