“Some people shouldn’t buy fountain pens (if they aren’t happy with resins not matching 100%)”….lol…well said! We are fortunate we can get gorgeous acrylics in wonderfully made pens that write smoothly for under $40!
Hey Chris! Another great video, and I'm glad to see that my inks are working for you. Thanks for showing them off again 😊 The p20 looks great... im a fan of the orange one. Just about to board my flight at Sea-Tac!
I just got my second P20 and again it does not disappoint. A $30 pen. And you can get an expensive pen and it could write like crap, but these....NOPE!!!! These pens really surprised me how smooth they write. They have no flaws out of the box.
Hi Chris, great review. I love the new colours, I'm just about to order a pinky/purple one. It will be my first Asvine :) Chels. Oh my Goooooooodnesssss the Rainbow version of the V200, it's in the cart with a Bock nib.
I like the P20 very much. It was my first Asvine and I think it was the first model offered by the company. I have enjoyed most of their pens. I reserve judgement on the P36. This version with the Hawai'i resin is very nice. It is very bright and does bring images of the tropics to me. Very good review, Chris.
Great review. I got one of the new P20s in what looks like PenBBS color 'Berries'. What a great pen. It's everything that PenBBS could have been. My first P20 in one of the blue colors had a large chunk of the barrel fall out.
I am glad to see som new colors from Asvine, and I hope they add some new models too. Of the various Asvine pens that I own, the P20 and V126 are my favorite models. I also hope they release some new colors in the P50, as I do not care for any of the current colors of the P50.
Found your channel tonight, watched a few and subcribed. Great reviews. I often like to change nibs to manga or G flex nibs. It would be great to know, if that's possible with various models, as well as how well the fitted nib writes. Great technical reviews. Many thanks
Thanks for the sub! I have no Manga nibs. Zebra G flex will not fit, it is a dip pen nib. Some maybe able to get G flex to fit but I have not found nib will work well.
The Chinese pen manufacturers seem to finally be realizing that westerners pefer wider nibs, and even if they still call them fine, they seem to be wider.

Thanks Chris. Nice review - I LOVE my Asvine pens!
You and me both!

Very good review, Chris.
I believe first model was V169. I reviewed January 2023.
@@chrisrap52 could very well be. I have both.
Also looks like there was one on “Moon River” that was briefly listed!

I love PenBBS - I have only a 327 longtail. That thing never lets me down, and it's eye-droppered with up to 3 ml's of ink.

Great review! I have a blue and amber P20. Great writers.
Thanks for the review - always wanted a Hawaii pen - have the P20 in Galaxy, Amber, Purple...and now Hawaii!!!
Great choice.
Nice review Chris. The pen looks to be a solid performer. The only downside for me is the resin color is not appealing to me!!
There are other colors.

I hate piston fillers. They are painful to clean. These are nice pens regardless.
I unscrew nib & flush out, easy to do.

More like a generous Western fine.
