Those gimmicks were also due to programming and the power of the system it was on. The power was a bit weak and the way it was coded allowed it to be really gimmicky. Now that they have the power be more realistic. They can take out all the more crappy gimmicks that's existed. Example super busted akuma from sf2 doesn't exist anymore.
His critical art is not a projectile although it will interact with projectile related moves. It's hard to explain. It breaks every true projectile in game. If you use it in a mirror instance it's a lot of hits you'll see. His VT1 breaks any projectile though including another Gill's CA.
Thank you so much for this video. I love how Gill is still a powerful foe despite not being created as an unblockable boss. Quite unexpected his inclusion on the game though. A little question, how did you use the GILL colour (the glowing one used in his boss battle) in your gameplays?
I still thinking Crapcom should leave the seraphic wings as a special critical art (Like Akuma Shun Goku Satsu) and put the meteor strike as a regular critical art. Am I the only one?
@@starshipdizzyxx No one is going to hate on you for liking a character and most of the times that people are chastised for liking any character the reasoning is apparent, i.e. The given character is O.P., spam/amateurish, gimmicky, and/or designed to be (un)likable to an extreme [e.g. El Fuerte] He was redundant in a series which includes his archetype and prototype, Guile and Nash, yet by slapping a coat of angsty teenage Hot Topic paint on him he stood out as a try-hard in a game where his style, zoning, is rendered damn near obsolete by the fundamental mechanics of Third Strike, especially parries. Remy may work well in the future but he's an anachronistic linchpin to the series as a whole. To be honest, if he reappeared in a modern Street Fighter in his classic costume, I think even JNCO wouldn't sponsor him.

Gill has a mechanic where an enemy hit with a fire based move burns them and vice versa for ice and when the opposite element hits it can cause a knockdown,combo opportunity or wallbounce
You have to select the second V-Trigger after picking up Gill to work, then wait until the V Gauge is full (receive damage, successfully land V-Skill attacks or counters) and then Press HP+HK to activate. Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick.
You need to activate V Trigger II, the strong kick (Ice kick landed) and strong punch (Fire punch landed) at the same time, after you activate it, everytime you press these two buttons at the same time you will use it
I don’t see why Urien is jealous of his brother. I personally think Urien move set is way cooler and isn’t Urien operates a successful multi billion dollar company? Urien has power, strength, success. Some people can’t be happy
There is no mention of that in this video, but if you want to know what it means, if Gill's opponent is in a fire or ice state, doing the opposite attack will put the opponent into a defenseless state similarly to a crush counter.
Kind of, is not that dangerous. Also, the damage over time lasts some seconds (i don't know how many) and if the opponent is stunned by freeze, then he will take damage overtime aswell, not white damage

Olaf Garcia you can make your mii as fast as sonic by making a really small and skinny mii with speed buffs
