    Fantastic noir with so many made each year not many offerings on you tube 20 - 50 movies made each year but only a few get posted. Thank you for posting it was on the edge of your seat story enjoyed much, I'm hoping you can start posting more of the hundreds made in Hollywood over the 1940s and 1950s I'm hoping that you can post more black and white film noirs of mysteries, dramas and detective movies from the best American generation my parents and those whom lived during them times shows how good American way of life was. All day I'm to words that teach me!

    Wow, a very young and brunette Amanda Black at just 21. This movie is very similar to another Columbia picture that was released a couple of years earlier called "Walk A Crooked Mile". The original title of it was going to be "FBI Meets Scotland Yard" but the title got changed. So it looks like that it got reused here to a certain extent. Overall, a good movie.

    Did anyone else notice the Dr. calling the nurse to come in from the outer office, walk 5 f5. Past him, get a glass of water, walk back past him and hand it to his patient, at about 16min. in? Instead of getting it himself? WTF ? He was even up already bringing the medicine.

    Why doesn't Langston--of Scotland Yard--not have a British accent of some kind?

    • @totallyfrozen
      @totallyfrozen Год назад

      Maybe he wasn’t a British actor. I once played an English “Bobbie” constable, but I’m not British. I also once played an Italian musician, but I’m not Italian either.

      @@totallyfrozen And I have played a guitar many times, but I'm not a guitar.
      😂
      Seriously, though, he's a professional actor playing a British character. Unless his character grew up in North America, why would he have a North American accent?

      All the film noir of the 40’s and 50’s were full of chain smokers (and alcoholics). This movie isn’t the worst. I’ve seen some where both men and women were smoking and drinking in EVERY scene.
