Hiya! I haven't seen your other mt. Komorebi builds, but a little tip for more modern japanese styled homes: they usually have a combined living space called an LDK (living room, dining room, kitchen) thats like an open concept combo of the three spaces. Also kitchens tend to be very small and specifically narrow even if they are large (like a rectangle instead of a square). I totally love this build though, it's absolutely gorgeous and your voice over is always so relaxing 💕(A little edit here, I just want to say that I totally understand that this is a fictional universe and that it doesn't have to be perfect, I just wanted to give a tip for maybe future builds?)
Has anyone else had a lot of routing issues since the patch? I haven’t seen anyone talking about it but my sims won’t use objects that they should be able to use or do things that they shouldn’t have any problems with. This has also meant that my sims exclusively use the bathroom sink to clean dishes now!
Yes! There have been major routing issues since the patch. Especially with platforms and stairs 🥺 Stairs have even been disappearing from my builds.
Yeah, TVs are like a must in rentals in Mt. Komorebi, at least for me, because my sims don't get any fun from any ski activities... which I find hella annoying xD!

Yep the space heater catches fire 🔥 it caught fire when I took my Sims on vacation. I just moved it to make sure it wasn’t near anything.
After the patch, my game was stuck on the loading screen and I had to force-shut down my macbook for it to close out. BUT! Its a super easy repair! just go into origin, hit the gear icon, and click on "Repair"!

Those space heaters are a fire hazard!!! I take them out. Lol.
I think for the update they should’ve just added the sentiments and then waited for the split leveling (because it’s so glitchy). I think most people would be okay with that because updates never happen to gameplay and it really needs to. That’s my thinking.
this is really cool! have you ever considered making an accessible home (even though sims doesn’t have anything like that 🙄)
I wish we had some accesible features in the game! I’ve seen xFreezerBunnyx use some debug features, some wall accents from Get to Work, and some roof accents to make accessible builds that sadly aren’t functional, but I love the thought he puts into them.
I love this idea! A wheelchair accessible home, like with wide hallways, large bathrooms, and ramps? That would be awesome!

If you put space heater on non-flammable flooring (build/buy clarifies which floors are flammable) they won't catch fire very often! Same for fireplaces :) Love this build!! 💜
I started saving so frequently now. I lost 2 sim days and the toddler in my family ended up with a completely different personality the second play through lol.

I am so forgetful and leave the space heaters on all the time in the rental house I'm currently using. Thankfully none of my Sims have been roasted yet, but I always freak out when I realize I've left them on again lol.

i had just made a new family with a new house that took me 2 hours to build!! And my PS4 crashed and none of it saved!!!

That happened to me once on PC and I uninstalled the game lol I instantly regretted it but I was so mad at the time 😔
That also has happened one time in cas. And I lost an entire family of sims
Made a new family and one of my sims has no relationships no matter how much I get her to make friends she has a huzzy n a child and this doesn't show up in the relationship bar either...#frustrated.

Since the update I can’t even load up my game anymore :( It just gets stuck on the Maxis loading screen...I really wish they wouldn’t have rushed the latest patch and took more time to prevent major issues like this from happening. I’m on PC and I’m not currently playing with any mods or CC...Not really sure what to do :(
Did you repair your game on Origin? I’ve heard that has resolved a lot of issues for people 💓🥺

@@MissSimReno I was able to repair it and its so far working perfectly! My loading screens are oddly supperrrr fast and my game isn’t lagging whatsoever! Thanks!
@@oliviawilson3070 Repairing the game basically wipes the slate clean, so I'd bet those cleared cache files are why the screens are so much faster! I make a point of going through those files every so often for this exact reason.
