TRUE STORY: I first discovered your videos while you were writing out Psalm 119. I enjoyed it so much I kept writing and I have now written 47 out of the 66 books!! I still can’t believe sometimes that I’ve gotten this far. Even though you may have stopped, you inspired ME to keep going, and for that I’ll be forever grateful. I am an original Club 119 participant and followed/purchased other (Ephesians) Bible study programs. I already have the She Reads Truth CSB and Mr. Pen translucent sticky circles and bible pens and highlighter supplies. I look forward to scripture writing with you!
I am so grateful I found this video tonight and made the decision to watch it. I have been Bible journaling, scripture writing, and studying the Bible for most of my life. My mother was in Ministry in the Methodist Church and I grew up this way. Then I had the privilege of working for our church, with my mom, for 6 years before I had my twins in 2003. You gain so much knowledge of the Bible when you work for your church. That experience enhanced my spiritual life and my walk with God in ways I never could have imagined. I thank my mom for taking me to church from the start of my life and for always encouraging me to seek God for anything and everything in life. I lost my mom to dementia on August 16, 2021. I hope she knows what an incredible gift she gave to me. I miss her more every day. I look forward to watching more of your videos, Elyssa. Thank you!!

I love what you said about how the creative journaling aspect kept you from sticking with your scripture writing. That hits home. I love being creative, but it's time consuming and can complicate things to a point where it's impossible for me to stick with things like journaling. For this season, simple is better and less is more.

I love transparent sticky notes. I have a Mr Pen and one from Diverse Bee for writing on sticky notes. I did buy another brand from China that is for writing on CDs and that worked too. Don’t believe a package when it says the one doesn’t smear till you try writing with it.

Hi Happy New Year! I haven't quite decided how I'm going to bind my journal pages yet so right now, there's in a simple stack on my desk but I'll probably do something simple like a 3-ring binder or a wire binding :)
