Thanks for this great demo of these two awesome instruments! Yesterday I was in a $2 shop with a good sound system and all was quiet except for Steely Dan's "Do It Again", with its high-flying sitar and organ solos. Searching, I found these were by Denny Dias and Donald Fagen on YC-30.

Hey Erik, I know I am a little bit late leaving a comment, but your video is one of the reasons I am searching for instrument's sounds on the internet. Well explained and brillantly played - you know what you are doing, and I really love it. Being a drummer for almost 40 years, ten years ago I discovered my passion for vintage organs and synths I always liked. I grew up in a family with a piano, so I figured out the keys for more than 30 years but, frankly said, I am a modest player on the keys. WTF ! Few years ago I found a white (!) YC 30 up for grabs, and you inspired me doing more on this instrument... Thank you so much for this ! Best regards from Germany, Martin

In its own way, it actually tributes the Lowery horseshoe models at the same time as the different Hammond, Vox and Farfisa models.
Watching this demo, I wouldn't be surprised if I found out that this was the organ model used by the keyboardist accompanying the 1979 Cliff Richard song "We Don't Talk Anymore." The way you demonstrated the ribbon controller has got me wondering about that.
The combo organ, theater organ, synthesizer, Theremin and Ondes Martinot amalgamate here.
