Good and ...meh.

Fuze, the new free operator from R6S collab part 2, is a pretty good laneholder, as if I were using Blaze.
However, Kestrel, the new free operstor from RA2, is kind of... meh.
She has attack-up talent (RNG), and her skill 2 is to increase her attack and attack speed.
I don't know how to explain it, but she just exists; I have enough vanguard, honestly.

For me Kestrel biggest issue is not that she's me, it's that her kit is boring af, there's absolutely nothing here, she's a year 5 operator that have a kit of a day1 op...
if she was just meh but interesting I would consider building her, but there's literaly no point.
Meanwhile all the new R6 ops look so fun to mess around with. I kinda want to see if Fuse S2 can be used on a static boss and OS it with enough buffs like Yato S3.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Vigna’s talent does more damage than kestrel also her mod upgrade buffs her RA mode talent not her general talent which is infuriating to me edit:which

Well, Vigna does more damage than Bagpipe per hit, not that surprising as the archetype is built for damage more than Pioneers. On average, Kestrel does better than Scavenger so she’s like a 5* version of her, which is kinda meh by today’s standards.

@@slonik0002 I get your point but like gnosis isn’t part of a subclass that is primarily focused on damage and he can give Angelina a run for her money but I guess six stars just get to break overall balance more often than not

@@adamvegas5951 TBF, Ange's archetype isn't for damage either, she was just notable because at launch there were very few non-caster arts damage dealers. But do agree 6*s are often made far more broken than regular units.

Kestrel actually has a good design but her kit is mid and she free from RA event (the mode is fine but not a lot of ppl would play for a long time) so she just easily forgotten

shes designed to be used in reclamation algorythm nothing more nothing less. her effect of sending resources shes carrying to you on skill activation without needing to be redeployed is pretty handy but other than that....

Apart from her haircut that is probably the ugliest thing i ever seen she has a good design, is really a shame that for a year 5 operator she has a kit of a launch operator. A shame, HG making those characters with boring kits trying to make them balanced but at the same time releasing stuff like Ray, typhon and such. Good video
