We don't have a link for the bed platform, a lot of people make their own or you may be able to order one through your dealer (it's the same platform as the top bunk). As for the conversion kit, Lippert asks that you to email Tyler, tbrian@lci1.com with a picture of your current bed, on that email include your shipping info and phone number. He will then create a quote and assign a customer care representative to you to finalize an order.
Exactly what I have been searching for.....A camper always has limited space. Why not raise your bed up to the ceiling when not in use during the other 16 hours of the day. Thanks for showing how to do that. The bed sheet system too....I'm sure this will be the future for toy hauler campers.
Hi!!! New here. Totally cool. Glad you didn’t get in an argument lol!!! I just bought my first new camper. My bedroom is one of the ones with the door on both sides so making the bed is a pain in the assssss. Beddys would be a great answer but I sleep with the flat sheet over just my middle. My husband sleeps on top of the blanket then puts another one on. It’s just not gonna work for us. Lol. I see you have a 49 second RV tour. Going to watch that one now 😊💛
Question! We are thinking of doing this also but why not just remove the couches and use the top bed? Why add the second platform? Or does yours not have the queen above the couch?
We are thinking of selling our home and waiting a while to buy elsewhere in Canada, we have one son , I have looked at MANY videos and trailer and the toy hauler def. seems like the best option and it's neat how you end up with a deck as well :)
We love our toyhauler. The “toyhauler “ part is actually a multipurpose room. When we are out in a beautiful boondocking spot we sleep in the back with the deck down. The views are amazing
Does doing any of this void your warranty? How does the person get out of the bed that is next to the door? When you have the back door open then everybody can see your bedroom?
It shouldn't void the warranty. We didn't do any fabrication to it. Just took off the bottom chairs and duplicated what is on the top. My wife is by the door and if she needs out before me she just crawls over me. We don't leave the windows open if we are backed up to someone. Plus we will be putting a curtain on the back for the privacy. That is coming soon. Great questions

Hello great job on the happijac we are getting a toyhauler want to do the same exact thing question ?? does the bed go all the way down to the floor at all??? if not can it?? I want ours to be an office in the day as well do you have any more vids of more stuff you have done to the garage?? thanx so much..Steve
It won’t go all the way down to the floor. It only will go down as far as the side rails will allow. You can get in the bed without a ladder. We are doing some more renos but we are moving slow right now. We had a big west trip we have to complete first. Keep an 👁 out we will be doing a lot more. Thanks for the comment
Looks great. I have a happijac bed lift in my converted trailer I’m building. My switch will only allow my bed to go down and won’t go up (tried everything). Have you guys have any issue’s like that or recommendations? Thanks!
This is exactly what we are trying to do! We have a puma camper that came with two bed that come down. Ours have a weight limit of 300 lbs we are wanting to add a queen mattress and both be able to sleep on the bed. Combined body weight would be around 360 plus mattress weight. Do you know what we need to do or add to make this an option?
I don’t really know, perhaps adding some fold up legs to the bottom of the platform for extra support when you’re sleeping in it? We’ve seen people turn the bottom into two bunks with a small walkway between them and they added legs that fold down for support, then when you bring them up they fold up out of the way.
Hi Jennifer, I checked with Happijac/Lippert and their request is for you to email Tyler, tbrian@lci1.com with a picture of your current bed, on that email include your shipping info and phone number. He will then create a quote and assign a customer care representative to you to finalize an order.
Hi Ron, All you need to do is email Tyler, tbrian@lci1.com with a picture of your current bed, on that email include your shipping info and phone number. He will then create a quote and assign a customer care representative to you to finalize an order.
We worked with Keystone to get a platform but I know lots of people who have built their own. The screws, replacement brackets and rails to attach the platform are all available. To order parts you just need to email Tyler, tbrian@lci1.com with a picture of your current bed. You will need to include in the email your shipping address and phone number. He will generate a quote and have a customer care rep assigned and they will follow up to complete an order.
What did you end up doing with your benches. Were you able to sell them? Or did you store them in case they might be needed at a later time? Thanks. I have mine removed and haven’t determined what to do with them as yet.
Thanks for following us along glad to you are part of our "circle" hope to meet you on the road some day so we will know you. We love our Beddy, we actually have 2 now and getting ready to buy a 3rd. We havent decided on the front room yet. Keep watching to see what we decide!
Hey there! We are just in the process of doing the exact same thing you did because we want the master bedroom to be our kids room, but I cannot seem to find the happijac kit that you guys used! Could you please link it for me?? Thank you!!
Hi Chevrolet, I’m so sorry, I just realized that I never replied, here’s how to go about getting the conversion kit. What is the weight capacity on that bed frame? My wife and I wanted to do this but ours looks like the capacity is only 300lbs for the bed frame itself, despite the happijac being able to hold something closer to 1500lbs.
Nice video. We just got a Fuzion 424. We’ve been thinking of doing a conversion too! Have you found your garage to get be very cold compared to the other rooms? Did you add a supplemental heater for it?
This is amazing! Thanks for sharing! I didn't realize there was a bed conversion kit for the lower/couch brackets! and the installation doesn't look too hard to do!! Can I ask...where did you order the brackets and bed platform from? TIA!!
oh and it may be just my headphones but i find it hard to hear your voices and then the music is so load it hurts my ears - not a criticism but wondering if it's just me or if this is something you know how to fix?

@Find Us Camping thank you for tge reply. We did contact Tiara RV Parts dept, and they were very helpful. We love having 2 beds available for guests! For others interested.. it is pricey but well worth the price over making the bed frame. Took 2 weeks waiting for it to get in supply and 1 week to deliver.

So did Keystone give you the platform bed?
@@maggieislost6039 we worked with Keystone and Happijac to make this video happen!
That Donk is by far the best part of this Video A+
Thanks
Btw it’s a great video to Happy Camping
Keep following us along. We try to put out entertaining and informative videos
Definitely entertaining
Lol. Thanks
Great video ! I had some questions about the Happijac system for disassembly to fit my oversized SxS, and your video covered everything. Thanks
So happy it helped!

That is exarly what we have been saying for years. We love the veiws we get out the back door. Thanks for watching
You’re going to love the new bed! Great video
I think we really are. Thanks
LOVE your garage conversion!!! Look forward to seeing what you do to the original master bedroom. ❤ - Michelle & Brian
We can't wait to show you what we are doing. You need to "FindUsCamping" soon
Wow! What a cool upgrade/remodel!
Thanks... we loving it!
Good job on the bed build definitely makes a nice bedroom
Thanks. We are loving it!!

We use the upper bunk for more storage
That is awesome! We want to convert our garage to an office but still haven’t done it.
We are going to use this as a bedroom/office. Can you imagine having a 13ft bedroom/office. You will love it when you build it!

Nice job I like the change. One question off this topic ... how is the travel access to the fridge in this floor plan?
Perfect. With the slides in we can access it without an issue

i wounder if that can be converted into a king size bed
Ours couldn’t because it would block the rear entry door. If you don’t have a door back there it could work.
Care to share the part numbers for those of us who would like to do this? Thanks

We actually just gave them away. We never used them in our Fuzion we had before the one we have now. The bed just made more sense to us!
I feel like I know you so well:). We love our beddy’s. Are you now going to make the front bedroom your office?

We do have a supplemental heater but before we had it, we’d just leave the door to the living area open to get some extra heat.
Where did you get the platform you installed?
We were able to work with keystone to get it for the video
It's interesting since Keystone says the platform bed is not for sale

Did you order the bed from the dealer? We can't seem to get anywhere talking to keystone or the dealer we bought our 2022 keystone fuzion 373 from
The dealer should be able to order it from Keystone. It would be the exact platform that is on your top bunk. We added our own mattress.
