On May 9th, 2020 Las Vegas Fire and Rescue Engine 9 responded to separate auto accidents, and Rescue 9 responded to an unrelated medical incident.

That's one big honking A/C on top of that ambulance! But I guess when it regularly hits triple digits in summer time it's mission essential gear! So many of our Pierce engines the A/C's have gone out, but it's a low priority fix for us. Even though it regularly hits mid-80s year round and kinda sucks, that's still a lot cooler than the desert these guys gotta deal with, can only imagine how much weight they lose in sweat every time they gotta put on turnouts!

It sucks but the only tone outs in the valley you can actually hear on a scanner is Henderson Fire. They just go over the station everywhere else.
