Being a Golden Retriever Owner I can tell that it's not as easy as it seems to raise a Goldie. I got my puppy 2 weeks ago i used a frisbee and tennis ball but he was not playing much and was lazy which made me sad i saw this video and got him some new toys and many plush toys and balls he loved the plushed toys alot even when he is ready to go to bed he will just keep the toy in his mouth and run around and jump around the house thank you so much ❤️

Two things I won’t compromise on, and that’s food and a bed, the rest doesn’t matter if that’s cheap. I can heartily recommend orthopedic dog beds, even though it may say it’s a veteran dog bed, it’s just the superior type of bed, no matter age, for your dog period. Royal Canin is an excellent choice of food for your pup, and if you got a Golden, then go Maxi Puppy, all vets and breeders alike would also recommend it as well. Eukanuba is also a solid brand for dog food.

6 weeks old? Do you own the mum? At least where I live, it's illegal to sell pups under 8 weeks, some breeders wait 10-12 weeks so they have more time to learn social dynamic etc from sibs and parents
@@oliviadaly4795 no I don’t own the mum unfortunately i had no idea it’s illegal in some places😕but the vet that we bought our puppy said its fine and she would be okay
She’s around 4month now 🙂but we still have problem with the potty training but better than before 😄now we got leash training i had no idea it could be this tiring haha.

Hi, retriever care I am getting a golden very soon and I have a question. at what ideal age should a golden be when I get him? if I get him too early he might not have had enough milk and he might be weak or if I get him late he would be almost fully grown. So what week should he be when I get him? love your vids
8 weeks is generally when they're even allowed to be sold at. Around that age is perfect.

my neighbour has a dog and they feed him roti and milk mixed together is is good to feed a dog this
The kind or roti depends
About the milk, if it's goats milk then it's perfect
It's not an ideal meal. They need to feed their golden a high quality dog food at least once a day. Apart from that, roti must be without salt and ghee/oil, and milk should be plain without any flavor and sugar. Please convey this to them. Homecooked food with oil, salt, and sugar can lead to many health problems in the long run.

As far as I’m aware you should trim around their ears so the ears don’t get infected from not getting air, around their bum and in between the paw pads.

It is my big dream but I am living in an apartment so I can't buy a golden retriever 😭😭.My mom is saying buying a golden retriever in an apartment is very difficult to maintain but it is correct I think so . She is also saying that growing a golden retriever in an apartment that we are destroying their freedom. Is it right?. In my mother childhood she had two German shepherd one boy and a girl🐶. it is NOT very hard to maintain a golden retriever in a apartment I have many friends who have a golden retriever wwho live in an apartment i too live in an apartment and am getting mine really soon. and we are never destroying her freedom in her early puppy days we need to spend more time training our puppy indoors and walking it for twice a day. i hope u get ur golden retriever soon Good luck !!
