Great job , Everything else aside , You got to drive that track , That track is like the Vatican , There's only a handful of tracks on this planet that have history like that , My hat is off to you sir 🥂
When I see a videos like this with such great production quality I just assume there will be a few 100k subscribers. Keep making the series, I love watching!
Honestly I click of these videos faster than the donut videos. It’s really nice to see an affordable series. One that I can see myself doing a little later in life. Like always, love the content!
It was literally one week ago today that I picked up my own 2007 3-door Yaris hatchback, 5-speed, in white. Bought it as a daily, but stumbling onto your channel has me rethinking that strategy. I really should turn it into a track weapon as you have...LOL!!!
That spin had the heart skip few beats dude!!!!!!! Glad you saved it. Sad to see those cars get wrecked. Great video 📹 very entertaining keep up funny stuff was nice surprise. Makes me wanna make video for my yaris preparation and at rallycross next weekend.
That NSX point-by though.... :) Also, have you done a pit on to get some distance? Sometimes in HPDE when it's getting bunched up I'll pit in to put some distance between myself and the pack for some open track. EDIT: Should have watched the whole video before commenting!
I am looking at getting a Yaris for an autocross car (first racecar). Do you still have the drum brakes in the rear or have you switched to disc. What is your reasoning?
Still drum brakes in the rear. The car is so light and so front heavy that the rear brakes are hardly needed. I spoke to people who've run the Yaris in SCCA Solo, b-spec, and h-production and they all said the rears aren't worth doing. That being said, if a Yaris t sport rear sub frame fell into my hands I wouldn't say no
@@RassoolRacing awesome!! I have been watching your videos for a few months and I was saving for a brz/frs for my first track car but I just want to get into it and your videos have inspired me just to start already.
@@hansenbargantine8713 an 86 on track is fun and if you're just looking to improve as a driver, that is a great car to do it with. The Yaris has been more of a test bed for building than a seat time car, and fwd is different on track so it might not teach you as much as rwd. But with that said, unless you're going really deep into the sport, the sooner you get out there, the more fun you'll have!
@@RassoolRacing Understandable! I’m just looking to get started as soon as I can. I’m currently finishing up grad school so money is a bit tight and I don’t want to use my daily so the Yaris will be a cheaper option. Just happy to get started.
please go to the junk yard get a transcooler from a 4runner or a seqiua and put it on that little pick up before u burn up the Auto i did this to my 4wd v6 rav4 and i would tow my Miata 2500lb with it to the track
@@RassoolRacing hmm i currently have a bmw E46 but looking to sell and get a little ecobox, but we only get small 1.3petrol and 1.4 diesel here in Denmark
Dudes got me ready to track my Corolla
Your videos are getting to be so awesome. Love the production quality. A few funny moments too. Keep up the great work!
This inspired me to go with an even meatier tire on the DEATHbX. The Yaris is holding up great, must be the driver 💪💀📦🔰🏁🐌🔧

How about changing to poly bushings. Enjoying your content, new subscriber here. keep it up.
thanks dude! got whiteline poly bushings on the front control arm. looking at some rear subframe bushings as well.
Also maybe installing undercarriage bracing (ie. cusco) would stiffen the chassis.
Go panda!
A fellow lefty :)
nice video

I'll look into it, thanks! 🙏
