    Cendol..apom..penang rojak!! My top 3 favs for street sweets!! So good so yum!! I love this entire list tho! Some of the items I never tried ever before!! So unique!!

    Oh yes cendol is a must! Penang Road Famous is great - worth the wait and sooo refreshing on a hot day. Love how fast they put together each bowl too

    Cendol is def one of the king deserts/ snacks of Malaysia 😍😍 we can't wait to try it, we have already told you that for us seeing the red beans in a sweet dish is something super intriguing for us. Can't wait

    Haha Ais Tingkap is definitely a funky drink. Loved watching them put the drinks together. The fresh coconut water and flesh is really nice in it

    Ohhhh yeah, we're snack people. Man, we still need to try cendol. Muar chee reminds us of mochi. Those pastries look perfect for breakfast too. Never heard of these. So nicely packaged.

      Muar chee is pretty similar to mochi. Just that the filling is coated outside instead

      Thank you so much! We actually took the bus and Grabcar most of the time especially in Georgetown because parking spaces are limited at most places. But I'll recommend driving if you'd like to visit other areas around Penang. Thanks for asking 😄

    Apom is something I have never had. Looks really interesting. That crispy thin pancake looks so good, I want to try that for sure. Ais Kacang is something I'm really interested in. I think I have gained 1,000 calories just watching. Thanks for taking us around.

    Japanese Mochi is a loanword of the Hokkien word Muar chee. There are many other Chinese loanwords have been Japanised today.

    🤔 hmmmm its hard in Malaysia cause you have so many snacks that you start eating some snacks between meals to tie you over like chendol or muar chee and then before you know it you've also eaten a whole meal worth of snacks and drinks and that's it you're full already 😂 🤔 only one we haven't tried is that crusty caramel biscuit 😯 looks really tasty
