Victorian Lace was formerly Rose’s “dime store” until 1971. Rose’s then moved to the Tri City Mall which is practically a ghost town now, but Rose’s is still open as is Belk which was the anchor store. The coffee shop was formerly the Trailways bus station that made the best hamburgers in Rutherfordton.
