A downtrend offers an equally high-yielding avenue if you have the necessary skills and knowledge. This is why I've been using an investment advisor to scale up during this difficult time, and it's the only way I've been able to raise up to $150K in the last six months. It all comes down to technique. The downtrend gives you room to focus on the market and grow-substantially whether in the long or short run.

Completely changed my thoughts on Elon musk, and on Tesla lost lotta respect for Mr. Musk today. The employees that got laid off on the worst Monday of their life. We're totally blindsided. These are single parents way to go Elon.
“Once FSD is super smooth (not just safe), we will roll out a free month trial for all cars in North America,” Musk tweeted Monday. “Then extend to rest of world after we ensure it works well on local roads and regulators approve it in that country.” May 8, 2023 Tesla just did that, they made it available to all Teslas that support FSD in the US and Canada. I’ve driven it and it is mind blowing. New versions come out every two weeks so it is improving rapidly. The product is now end to end AI and trains using actual driver video. Supervised Full Self Driving is no longer a Beta product and is now ready for wide release. They just lowered the price to $99/mo and anecdotally the take rate will be much higher than before. I certainly will do it.
@walden6272 most hedgefunds set them at 7% down from their buy, they also sell when 7% up... if u wanna miss the big swings u should set your sells at 6.5% down or up
I would buy the stock at $17 per share. I would buy an EV car at $18K. See the mismatch with reality? It was a nice novelty car company for those people making North of $150K per year that could afford the home charging system in their garage and pay the premium price for the car and the concept because they are Environmentally conscientious and financially able. But this guy needs to realize that 500K units per year is such a minute segment of the overall automobile market to justify anything but maybe a $17 share price. How many units does Ford sell of it's F150 Truck annually? And yet it's a $12 per share stock.
EV =/ ICE The same way Ford has no market share in horse carriages. Tesla has 50+% in the EV market. You may not have realised it the ICE car is dead, unsustainable at the current rate of climate change.
It's hard to mass sell a vehicle that retails North of $40K for the working class market that can't spend more than $23K. Then of course there is the charging time. Most of the $23K Market forks are living in cramped apartments with NO Tesla charger in their living rooms and no streetside charger provided by the complex. There's just a whole segment of the market that is NOT going to adopt this technology at a 65% price premium and then have to drive the car somewhere and wait 3 hours for a marginal charge for the day's use. It's not competitive with ICE yet for mass market appeal. Plus they seem to loose resale value faster. Look we all want to stop climate change/global warming/ all that stuff. But the smarter way is probably going to get people back into some aspects of medium range mass transit. My area has a NEW Brightline train service that plans to build a station in Stuart, Martin County FL, where there is poor EV adoption. For me, the benefit is access to Orlando or West Palm or Miami to get from home to an airport the easiest with no use of a personal car. There is of course one other option, Tesla could design a car with a fold down seats that double as a bed. Since I will have to wait 3-4 hours to charge it, I will probably have to sleep in the car while it charges. Unless large charging banks are built around employers, then people can have the car charge in the day while at work. But most employers don't seem to interested in paying for chargers.
Spot on. Those first three paragraphs are like spot on and it seems so obvious that that is the case, yet these expert analysts keep spewing the idea that nobody wants them and there is no demand. I don't buy it at all. Every 4 out of 5 people I talk to at my apartment complex all want EVs, but it isn't our job to convince our property manager or employer to install chargers. 40k is also certainly not mass market. Once a mid specced EV retails for about 30k and starts in the mid 20s, mass adoption will follow in short order.

Of course we might mention to these that now and then any layoffs experienced are simply to downsize the labor force because the machines are now programmed with all of your invested time and efforts, and they find you all unnecessary. It is our future to deny ourselves a future. Some one else can purchase and drive these cars if you lack the vision. Truly sarcasm has no place any longer in our society so please forgive me.
