- Getting through the cockpit of the Zoukei-Mura F-4G Wild Weasel, including using the SWS/Red Fox set for the consoles and instrument panels.
Want the panels for yourself? They're being sold through Zoukei-Mura distributor Volks: volksusastore....
For future troubles like what you had with cockpit fit, you might try putting something like lipstick or masking fluid on the sides. Test fit very gently and see what’s making contact and what isn’t. Could give a better idea of what’s interfering.
I find the Red Fox detailing sets addictive. I start to panic when I can’t get a set for a build now.😂
Got a Prowler kit that I’m holding off on until they come out with one.
The cockpit looks great but I believe you're missing all the wires that are behind the Martin Baker ejection seats, but I like the way it's coming along
Im starting an AH-1Z 1/35 build this week and just got my red fox kit today. Had them in my 48 Bone and they change the whole cockpit for the best....glad I found them a year or so ago, these the most impressive things to happen to model kits since resin became a thing.
Love the tooth pick idea. Great stuff as always.
Damn you’re killing it. Love watching you build and thanks for making me laugh.
As always Matt outstanding work!👍👏👨🦳
Nice job Matt...................
Matt do you think that maybe leaving the canopy sill part loose until the fuselage halves are mated will work better? I will be building this kit soon.
Not really. IMO the join has to start there (or start at the tail/heat shield, then move up front, then join the middle). It's a very floppy fuselage half arrangement and that doesn't work in anyone's favor.
Nice kit 🤤🤤🤤
It's a pretty more kits don't include optional flat featureless panels for people who are going to use aftermarket 3D details. Finemoulds did this on all their 72 scale Phantoms
Eduard does, because they want you to use their PE panels.
What uv glue did you use? Thanks mark
Great work on the cockpit as always my friend.
Can I ask what thin UV glue you used to represent the glass on the instrument dials?
Just a set that I bought off Amazon
@@DoogsModels thanks Doog do you have the brand handy?
This looks like the same brand but the bottle design is slightly different a.co/d/gvlXfEg
@@DoogsModels cheers buddy
Stupid question from someone just getting back into the hobby. Why do you use UV light glue for the instrument panel? Are there alternatives?
There are plenty of alternatives. Clear gloss. Future. Even some gloss-drying PVA glues. I prefer the UV stuff since once it cures it's done, it's not going to do any weird leveling stuff. But it's all somewhat minor since the effect isn't really visible once everything is installed anyway.
Thanks and thanks for sharing all your techniques. I really enjoy your videos.
What is the name of the sanding “stick” you used to smooth out the side panels? Awesome fucking job btw!
Infini glass file
@@DoogsModels Much appreciated! Apologies for the shitty punctuation on the original comment.

Pourquoi vous deux devez utiliser des gros mots dans une conversation publique? C'est pas respectueux! Les gros mots ne vous font pas "cool" comme vous voulez!
