@@artemisnectar7 haha thanks ☺️ yeah I’m still doing list videos I just occasionally do other things to mix it up and keep things interesting for me. 🤓✨ I know that’s going against the laws of RUclips but I enjoy it all ⚡️
Hey STooToob. Appreciate the list - I really like when reviewers like yourself cover the “lesser known / hidden gem” sort of horror movies that I may have missed. While anyone watching this clip will probably be familiar with body horror maestro David Cronenberg’s “Scanners” or “Videodrome” … I’d highly recommend two that I think are quite hidden: The Brood (old movie) and Crimes of the Future (new but quite obscure). I think “Malignant” is by far the campiest movie on your list - or at least best enjoyed that way. 😆
@@johnrapp1116 thank you so much I really appreciate it! Haha yeah agreed on Malignant it was so camp but just the right level to still be pretty freaky and gross. I haven’t seen The Brood in ages I have to rewatch it but I’ve never heard of Crimes of the Future so I’m gonna check it out, nice one! 👍 Yeah I try to steer clear of movies that are too obvious or famous but Cronenberg and Clive Barker are certainly masters of body horror
Hellraiser was my first body horror movie and it left quite the impression with me! Tusk is a fun one that still managed to stay with me for a long time. But I just went and saw The Substance in theatre last week and wow! I highly recommend it. What it has to say about how women are seen and judged and therefore judge themselves is powerful, but the body horror is done very very well!
@@Meow-Meow501 nice! I love the Hellraiser franchise. I’m going to see The Substance at the end of October in a little arthouse cinema in my city I’m really looking forward to it.
@@Horror_N_M3tal yeah I love The Fly! I thought it was a bit too famous to be on this list though. I didn’t know it came about because of that so I’ll have to read up on it thank you so much. I haven’t watched The Hidden so I’ll add it to my list. Have you seen the movies in my video?
You should watch Sorgoi Petrov and Murder Death Koreatown if you haven't seen them. They are both found footage horror movies. Sorgoi Petrov gets wild.
#StooToob 👋🏽🥳gtsy!!! Proper list 🤗 cheers 2 anotha upload 🍻

Glad you mentioned Society. Saw it in high school and at 53, it still sticks with me. Brian Yazuna was a master👍
@@pamelalamb3840 agreed! It’s such a classic body horror movie that I don’t think gets enough credit

The Fly 1986 is a body horror film that came to be because of the Aids epidemic of the 80s. Also The Hidden 1987 is another body horror movie.
