So unfortunate that the country was to pay off all loans but as we speak, more loan agreements may have actually been or in the. Process of signing. Meaning that our country continues to be burdened debts all in the name of bilateral agreements.

This is complete shit how could the coolies be shipped to kenya to build the kenya Uganda railway and we cant do it ourselves.C'mon people. Put us on to the job and let us build our own roads and railways.

Because we refuse to fight corruption, we decide to give away job creating, revenue generating ventures to outsiders to get the profit that we ourselves would have been getting. Some of these PPPs will eventually fail, if there are too many, if we don't have investments that will create decent jobs and live our wealth concentrated in the hands of a few. Those PPPs, I guess due to our poor negotiations, also seem to come with investor income guarantees that may one day put us in a bind.

It is good that President Ruto is now interested in development projects for his legacy. However, plans which are distorted by interests, inefficient implementation of projects, opaque commitments and agreements, too much debt and uncontrolled corruption make any further borrowing irresponsible.

I think Ruto needs to leave office and the majority need to rally around an Omtatah / Wanjigi ticket. No one else has the credibility and determination like Okiya. I am for a referendum just as soon as Gen-z complete voter registration.

Looks like your guest needs to visit Russia. Moscow is the largest and most developed city in Europe.
According to a 2024 report, there are the six largest economies:
    China $35.0 trillion
    USA $27.4 trillion
    India $14.6 trillion
    Russia $6.5 trillion
    Japan $6.3 trillion
    Germany $5.9 trillion
In the same report, world bank notes that Russia's economy is underestimated by 39%, which could add another $2.5 trillion to the figure
