Like the guitar review. I like the voice of Martin guitars, especially a Custom Shop D-28 12-fret with Adirondack VTS top. Probably need to look at those specs to see what glue they used. Thanks Cory
Hope you don't mind a story about the first time I was introduced to the Black Crowes. It would have been the mid to late 80's and I was seeing Michael Schenker in Toronto. Heading up Younge Street we passed a bunch of guys in kind of outlandish outfits, not the jeans and tee shirts that we all wore then. The opening act comes on stage and it's the same guys, the Black Crowes, opening for MSG. What a great show that was!!
Can you get a price on the same build guitar without all the time spent marks on it. I'd have an aged vts top and the same toner colour just a clean rich robinson d28?
@@coreycongilio ah yeh I thought I'd just try my luck . It's on my list for tomorrow tho. I've been waiting for a straight braced d28 and/or a d18 with a good full neck profile to arrive at Martin's lineup. The last ones were the 1955 models they did in 2000s. I missed out . Thanks Corey
Really not digging the sound/tone on this one. Relic'ed look is interesting but I'd never buy a pair of jeans with pre-made holes in them so I can't see myself ever buying a guitar that has been beaten up on purpose.
@@el34glo59 Nah, each guitar needs to lead its own life, not copy the dings of some other instrument. Not saying that's right - just stating it as my opinion.
Bought one yesterday, can’t wait to get it
What a cool way to honor their father. Much love in that family.
‘Love my D28!

Hey Eddie. For that, you’ll have to work with a dealer who can make you a custom shop.

The Kluson folks😂
Beautiful guitar. Brotherly love or the fall outs is something that’s tainted the Black Crowes over the years imo but they were a really good band
They should’ve never printed the top

Listen to a 39 authentic d18. Probably change your mind
