- Why do engineers need to be good at maths? In this video I help explain why maths is a required skill to have if you want to be an engineer such as an aerospace, mechanical, electrical, civil engineer. There are many reasons why engineers need maths and I explain a few main reasons why.

Who am I?
My name is Sagar, I am living in London and am working as a software engineer. I am also a first-class MEng aerospace engineering graduate in the UK at the University of Sheffield. In my channel, I post videos about engineering, technology, university life and careers. If you're a university student or planning to study at a university in the UK or anywhere else, consider subscribing as I will make helpful videos to help you make the most of university.

I'm so weak at maths and my dream is to become the professional aerospace engineer I was so crazy about the aircrafts and spacecrafts since I was child I also bulit paper crafts a lot
You're the first channel I stumbled upon for information on Aerospace engineering and now I'm hooked! Literally a hidden gym!
Yes you have to be able to adapt to existing concepts. But you dont have to be a maths guru
Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Great video !! Thanks for sharing with us your experience. Can you make a video about the best books for self-taught aerospace enginners? I graduaded in mechanical enginner with a major in mechanical design and e wanted to learn more about aerospace ( Perhaps I will try to get an Msc in AE).
Interested ,,,
Scaree mee?! , it just gave me a hit of dopamine and courage to study and become oneeee
Cool video.
How to i contact with you
hey, i hope you or someone else can answer my question. i plan on doing a BEng in aerospace engineering in the uk, then maybe a masters. how easy is it for aerospace engineers to get jobs in other engineering fields, like mechanical or maybe even environmental?
Hey, great video. BTW, what is the name of the movie or series at 2:37 ?
Hidden Figures it’s a Film
Hey, the video is so dammed good.!🤝 but we want your academic journey from the period when you've chosen aerospace engineering to how you're here at this point.
Yeah
Hie, thanks with the video. I need some career guidance, how can I reach you?
what about Physics?
Yes also important, but physics is generally just maths with context
Exams system ???
I'm passionate about aerospace engineering,, now I am stay in Russia
Hi, I got a grade 5 at gcse maths therefore I wasn’t great but not bad, I’m now studying mechatronics engineering as a level 3 extended diploma therefore I’ve applied for university. However I’m worried about the maths. I’ve applied for aerospace at Sheffield Hallam. My college course states that it involves maths but I have learnt literally nothing since gcse regarding maths. Will I struggle at uni with the maths ?
yeah
don’t they have a foundation year course?
@@josephbenson606 depends what uni, usually unis have foundation engineering, and after that u can choose aero or mechanical or pretty much any engineering
Damn
