As an Asian American guy growing up having nobody to look up to and no role models that I see on a TV screen or a movie screen for that matter, I went to a school that was mainly African-American and Latino but mostly African American and being exposed to old school hip hop was my saving Grace for some sort of an identity and I really owe it to my friends back in Junior high and high School and to all the old school hip hop artists who gave me something to love and be passionate about. This brings back some amazing memories for me. Nice and smooth was on rotation in that cassette deck and Walkman all the time.

All day bro..in 43 and feel it when I hear real hip hop from 1989..I dont know weather to cry or beat up one of these Millennials that think they know what hiphop is...lol..70s, 80s& 90s can never be topped. It's so bad that the new generation tries to copy all day because they have no talent and dont have originality..

Classic! It just goes to show how the cream of the game continue to strive and stay true to real hip-hop. Nuff respect to Greg Nice, Smooth B and all the producers for dreaming up this totally fresh concept! Peace.
This is one of those beats you never hear anyone rap over again, its just on another level. Wish instrumentals like this could be made more often and dudes like cassidy and other guys could make a fire song like these legends.

Smooth B's rhymes are so simple yet his word play & rhyme scheme is so precise. On top of that his flow just goes so naturally on any beat his voice & rhymes touch. One of my fav emcees of all time

Those Nice & Smooth albums were pure dope from beginning to end. Two opposite flows that complement each other perfectly. Check out the joint they did with 3rd Bass "Microphone Techniques" & Kane "pimpin ain't easy". Everything they touched was just so fun to listen to.

OMG!!! I used to love this song and fast forward how many years later to see a video is, beyond awesome. Keeping it simple and classic in my hometown, the South Bronx. Love it. Nice & Smooth have always been original and fresh bringing something really authentic to hip hop. These guys should be honored at one of these Hip Hop Honor award shows. Still love me some Nice & Smooth and they look great.
