As an Asian American guy growing up having nobody to look up to and no role models that I see on a TV screen or a movie screen for that matter, I went to a school that was mainly African-American and Latino but mostly African American and being exposed to old school hip hop was my saving Grace for some sort of an identity and I really owe it to my friends back in Junior high and high School and to all the old school hip hop artists who gave me something to love and be passionate about. This brings back some amazing memories for me. Nice and smooth was on rotation in that cassette deck and Walkman all the time.

@@niterida380 Ok. Makes sense now because I was heavy into hip hop and watching all the video shows at the time this song came out so I found it strange I never saw this.

OMG!!! I used to love this song and fast forward how many years later to see a video is, beyond awesome. Keeping it simple and classic in my hometown, the South Bronx. Love it.
