Now I'm just tricking out my kobo with stickers, decals, a case i got an etsy maker to create for me with a clear back and along with a tbr jar and a prompt jar and even a pouch/sleeve to keep it extra safe. Thank you so much for helping me make a great decision!

Great Video. I have a Kindle paperwhite, Scribe, Nook & Kobo. I bought the Kobo bcuz, I thought I could transfer my Barnes & Noble books to it. That was a total disappointment. I have THOUSANDS of books in both Kindle and Nook ecosystem’s. Yes, the Kobo is very well made. I like it but, I don’t “Love it” and have yet to read or finish a book on it. 🥴 I’m working thru my commitment issues🤣 I notice I reach for my Scribe & my Paperwhite the most. Now I’m considering ordering the BigMe to have all my ebooks on one e-ink device.

You can change the kobo to have time left like what you see you see in kindle if you wanted that option. You can also attach the pen to the other side of the kobo so it attaches on the side
I have both the Kobo Colour Libre and Kindle. The Kobo allows seamless integration with Overdrive/Libby in Canada, which Kindle does not. Also Kindle in Canada has Bluetooth disabled which makes listening to audiobooks impossible. Check for Kindles limitations in your area of the world.
I feel like the kindle is pretty solid as far as it goes with limitations. Kindle however does not directly connect to Libby, you have to use a separate app which is quite annoying. We do have the Bluetooth enabled here. Some devices allow you to read and do audiobooks while other versions of the kindle do not. Thanks for watching and weighing in.
I think if you like to annotate a lot you should get the kobo (although is my understanding that kobo annotations can't be exported?), or if you really like buttons. I am used to not using buttons when I read, just tapping the screen. So the kindle wins for me. ( Today it occurred to me, the reason why I have never turned off the kindle by mistake with that weird power button placement is that I use a case, maybe that helped me 😅)
Thanks for watching! Yeah I’m not big on annotating. I falsely told myself that I would annotate with the scribe and the kobo but it’s not happening. However, the integration of the kobo stylus is top notch.
I got the kobo libra colour last month after i heard about the coloursoft (sorry I am British) and was hoping the kindle would of been on par with the Kobo..... Down side is mu library has just pulled ebooks from their system so i have a library card which I can't use now. I was heavy in the kindle system but I am slowly coming aqay from there but I still love my older paperwhite though

Hey sis! Not as good as the new paperwhite. It also really depends on how high your brightness is. Reading a book will take down 6-10% where on the paperwhite it goes down 2% (the new paperwhite)
