    I recently bought Kobo libra colour and since then I don't look at any other e reader, because I adore my Kobo Libra Color ❤

    Thank you for this video! I am a kindle gal myself and was recently gifted a kindle colorsoft and love it! I have no yellowing, ghosting or issues whatsoever! I am fortunate to have it and enjoy reading hours on this device which has saved my eyes! Blessings to all you beautiful souls! 😊

      Thanks for watching and for the positive vibes! I’m so happy that you don’t have issues. I think the colorsoft and basic are the only kindles I need in my life.

    I have a Kindle, I think Kindle has the best quality, my opinion. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks so much for watching! Yes, the kindle devices are certainly top notch. I’ve had overall good experiences with them

    The Kobo reads epub files, so you can read your kindle books on kobo, you just need to sideload them with that format. It's not just "kobo books", its pdfs too. Just to clarify. I brought a few kindle books over because i like the page turn buttons

    • @ravenclawreads3177
      @ravenclawreads3177  2 дня назад

      Yup, I have done the same but the main platform is to read books from the Kobo website. Side loading is a bit more involved and I don't believe it would be a process one would inherently do.

    I want the kindle colorsoft so bad! It has not been released in Canada and we can't get it from the US as they won't ship to a Canada address 😢. I have a bw kindle because my boyfriend gave to me as a bday gift but the plan was to wait for the color. The kobo color price has increased so much that now I ended up with no color device. I should have bought it during christmas 😭

      Awww I’m sorry. I think you’ll love it when it comes your way. It’s a solid device now that most of the kinks are worked out.

    I thought about getting a Boox but wasn’t sure about it, glad I didn’t because the screen looks a little off. I ended up with the Kobo, partly because Amazon did not have the 1 graphic novel I wanted to read as an E-book on the colorsoft. Made me mad, so I returned my colorsoft. I still have my Oasis for some kindle books but I really like my Kobo Color.

      Great choice! Yeah the boox screen and general operating system is off. It’s not an appealing color e ink reader like the kobo and colorsoft. So now I have to know, what graphic novel were you looking for??? Thanks for watching!

      @ Under the Oak Tree, they have it on amazon but it can only be read on the kindle app on a phone (or at least it wouldn’t let me on the colorsoft or my oasis).

    I got the Kobo Libra Color several months ago. I have to remind myself to use it. While all of my books are on Kindle, which I really love, I can read my library books on the Kobo. I still reach for my Kindle unless a library book isn't available on Kindle.

      I feel your struggle it’s such a balance. I loved the color kobo especially before the colorsoft but now since the colorsoft it doesn’t feel like I need the kobo. What region are you in? I’m in the US and I can have my Libby books sent to the kindle so it eliminates the need for a kobo. Thanks for watching!

      @ravenclawreads3177 I'm in the US. While most of the books I check out from my library are available in Kindle, occasionally I check something out that is only available in Libby/Overdrive, so I use my Kindle Fire to read those...or now my Kobo...if I remember to use it. I've even had one book that wasn't available in either of those formats, but in Hoopla. Had to load that onto my Fire as well so I could read that one!

    Thank you for this video!! With all its ups and downs, I will stick with Kindle. Libby and I are besties and I send all my library books to Kindle. BTW… I jumped right over to Goodreads when I saw the cover to Perfect Peace, it’s going on my TBR 😊

      Thanks for watching! Yes, I feel the same it's a bit shaky but all of my books are sitting happily on my kindle. Yes, I havent read the book yet but I am so ready to dig in.

      Just an FYI you can get your library books directly on a Kobo instead of having to send it to your Kindle. 😊

      @@tiffanymichele Thank you for the info!! 😉 I have to admit I saw the Home Screen on the Kobo and it is way better than Kindle

    nearly everything Ive read about the boox color 7 is its fragile, has horibble battery life compared to the others and is overall a 1 out of 5 rating.....otheword not worth the price

    • @ravenclawreads3177
      @ravenclawreads3177  5 дней назад +3

      Thanks for watching! I don't think it feels fragile but it is definitely not worth the price in my opinion. There are way nicer devices for less.

    Al ver tu vídeo denoto que gc7 no está configurado los colores los tienes opaco yo lo tengo y le va genial solo cuestión de configurarlo ya que es Android y es más libre cosa que para los usuarios de kindle no les va la luz frontal es genial ya que proteje tus ojos por eso es justa la pantalla es gris igual a la colorsoft y kobo sin la luz frontal encendida y La batería dura varios días con un uso moderado, y si solo lo usas para leer, podrías olvidarte de cargarlo durante semanas. Eso sí, si empiezas a usarlo para funciones más intensivas, como navegar por internet o usar aplicaciones, la batería se agota más rápido, pero sigue siendo mucho mejor que cualquier tablet tradicional.

      It is definitely a great reader for how much flexibility it offers.
