As one who has both Medicare and Medicaid due to Disability more has to be done than Medicare for All. I got hurt at work at Petco and they threatened to fire me if I reported it. When I left I told hr about how they worked me and my lunch breaks and didn’t pay me and told them about my knee injury and how bad it was getting. I told them I had been suffering and not getting care for knee and Petco and their workman comp insurance fought me and denied me care. I went to court with them. All I wanted was a mri to see how bad the damage was. I ended up losing because I missed the window of opportunity to report the injury. The judge did acknowledge that I was pretty much blackmailed but said his hands were tied. Even after hearing from witnesses… these people also got fired after the hearing. My knee took 4 years to heal and didn’t heal properly. I gained a lot of weight. For years i wanted to unalive myself because of the pain. I didn’t get to play and interact with my young child. It ruined my life and I still can’t even play with him due to my injury. 😢
I had gotten injured at work. I was told by my employer's insurance that they would not cover any more care. If I wanted to contest it I could sue them. But she said "we have a whole staff of attorneys to fight cases just like this.". My lungs will never be ok.

Currently doctors are not required to take Medicare or Medicaid for payment.This is b/c these programs pay the least.In order for the Meducare for all to work all doctors need to be required to take these programs as payment,paid on the level of private and we would need more doctors to take care of the people w/a Medicare for All.Where I am in the Midwest very few good experienced doctors take public insurances those who did have been retiring and many use the line: Not accepting anymore Medicare or Medicaid patients if they ever did?

I got hurt at work at Petco and they threatened to fire me if I reported it. When I left I told hr about how they worked me and my lunch breaks and didn’t pay me and told them about my knee injury and how bad it was getting. I told them I had been suffering and not getting care for knee and Petco and their workman comp insurance fought me and denied me care. I went to court with them. All I wanted was a mri to see how bad the damage was. I ended up losing because I missed the window of opportunity to report the injury. The judge did acknowledge that I was pretty much blackmailed but said his hands were tied. Even after hearing from witnesses… these people also got fired after the hearing. My knee took 4 years to heal and didn’t heal properly. I gained a lot of weight. For years i wanted to unalive myself because of the pain. I didn’t get to play and interact with my young child. It ruined my life and I still can’t even play with him due to my injury. 😢
I had gotten injured at work. I was told by my employer's insurance that they would not cover any more care. If I wanted to contest it I could sue them. But she said "we have a whole staff of attorneys to fight cases just like this.". My lungs will never be ok.
This is what they are robbing us of..quality of life by denying basic, preventative care. We are the masses, we control our future.
