Guys the trick with Shein is to seperate your orders, but wait till it actually arrives in SA before placing your next one. Also try to keep your order around R1300,apply the 15% coupon(which they have throughout the year) this way your order works out just above the amount to get free shipping. Customs wont huuurd you this way,as it should be around R250+. Ive ordered 2 times already and currently busy with my 3rd order in which I will be trying the custom refund lol.

As someone who isn't plus-sized, I find their prices really affordable (customs and all) bc I've seen some two pieces that go for the same price I would find on a nice shirt at Mr Price. At the end of it, if you're crafty with the kinds of items you buy(I generally like 2 pieces BC it feels like more value for my money) you could pay R1500-R1800 for like 9 items which is a steal for me. 😳. Customs costs aren’t really based on how much you’ve spent, but rather on items. Locally available items usually have higher customs as the intention is to get people spend and grow the local economy. SARS page has all the Customs % charges per item, and the clothing can even go up to 45% of your order in clothing. So it’s advisable to check your item on the page prior placing your order.
It should be that way but it isn't always that way. Hence why I asked for the codes they used for each item. Those estimates don't always work. Check my latest video. I paid nearly the exact same amount I spent on the clothing for customs

If Shein decided to use Buffalo logistics then you will receive an email, sms and call from a female robot telling you to pay customs within 45 or 48 days otherwise your package will be returned, all necessary details will be on email and the sms they sent.
Bought 5 times... And I am happy, payed customs just once so far... When buffalo did my delivery... And when aramex did deliveries never paid customs... Received deliveries within 2 weeks each time. Only time I had a problem is with one pair of shoes (too small), I can't send back for exchange or refund bcs apparently I am responsible for the postage. Meaning will cost me more... So ya I am busy trying to find a buyer for those...

I ordered from a different place and Buffalo was the one responsible to deliver my items and I also had a fight with them, because they had my order at their warehouse for a week, and when I asked my supplier what's going on. Appearantly they don't refund the custom duty anymore since September 2021, they claim that it is now stated on their website which I have not seen. I suppose since Buffalo is a Chinese based company they are trying to give them business by discontinuing the option to choose Aramex.

There's always discount codes available on the home page of the SHEIN app, it's the 10%, 15% and 20% discount depending on how much you've spent. I use them everytime I shop on SHEIN. I also use the points I get from checking in everyday to get more discount.

@@nontobekomsomi7142 an email or sms ( most times both) will be sent to you from the chosen courier service ( aramex or Buffalo logistics) . If Shein decided to use Buffalo logistics then you will receive an email, sms and call from a female robot telling you to pay customs within 45 or 48 days otherwise your package will be returned, all necessary details will be on email and the sms they sent.

Bought 5 times... And I am happy, payed customs just once so far... When buffalo did my delivery... And when aramex did deliveries never paid customs... Received deliveries within 2 weeks each time. Only time I had a problem is with one pair of shoes (too small), I can't send back for exchange or refund bcs apparently I am responsible for the postage. Meaning will cost me more... So ya I am busy trying to find a buyer for those...

I love the video and I am glad to share this because I have been skeptical about ordering from SheIn. I ordered from a different place and Buffalo was the one responsible to deliver my items and I also had a fight with them, because they had my order at their warehouse for a week, and when I asked my supplier what's going on. They told me they can't get hold of them. I got my order eventually but Buffalo is really bad

Appearantly they don't refund the custom duty anymore since September 2021, they claim that it is now stated on their website which I have not seen. I suppose since Buffalo is a Chinese based company they are trying to give them business by discontinuing the option to choose Aramex.

I have ordered more than 5times and every time I had to pay Buffallo logistics for customs and the lowest I’ve had to pay was R350. I hope it’s not too late to get a refund.

There's always discount codes available on the home page of the SHEIN app, it's the 10%, 15% and 20% discount depending on how much you've spent. I use them everytime I shop on SHEIN. I also use the points I get from checking in everyday to get more discount.
