Yes that's it!! I played that Grand Hotel album to death, what a band they were. I actually bumped into Ritchie Heavens in a pub in Doncaster while recording Full Nelson, top fella. Ad

The free CD's with classic rock introduced me to some great bands. Heavens Basement, Dead Sarah and Tracer to name a few.
1991 gave us Badmotorfinger, Temple of the Dog, Ten, Slave to the Grind, Kerplunk, "The Black Album" and Wretch by Kyuss. Oh and Nevermind, whatever that was all about.
The Earache record era is bloody brilliant right now. You lot, Those Damn Crows, The Karma Effect, Scarlet Rebels etc.

1991 was a landmark year, put a lot of bands in the ground but a new batch into the stratosphere! The CR CD was indeed a great thing, and something we always dreamed of getting a track on back then.

H.E.A.T the Swedish phenomenon started 2008. I was gigging a lot then and am surprised how many of the bands you mention just went over my head…

Hardcore Superstar were another Swedish band that seemed to kick things off, I never knew HEAT went back that far, they were fantastic when I saw them around 2014 I think! Adam

79/80 golden age for me, NWOBHM just taking hold together with all the classic rock bands still around.
Would love to come to Barrow on the 8th June, but I'm seeing a little band called the Scorpions at Wembley that day, sorry.

I'm pretty much with You guys when it comes to musicals , thought there are a few I have enjoyed , most of them were comedy's . Films like Cat Ballou , Paint Your Wagon , probably because of the larger than life characters portrait in them and the even larger than life Legendary Lee Marvin . The vast majority of them are not for Me so I agree with Adam . You forgot one Awesome band in Your 2010s Era bands rundown , I rate them very highly and have been lucky enough to see them live several times . They are a group that live in My area & I think they Rock with the best from all the era's . They are officially known as Massive Wagons which is often shortened to simply Wagons in conversation. Thanks Adam Thanks Baz , thanks guys . Rock On . , PS don't knock Your first album I still have it and listen when ever the mood takes.
