You faked me out there. I heard that music and thought you cut the end of the story off. I am so glad that I persisted and the story was completed. Thank you!
I loved the complicated relationship, the family and friends who were always there and especially the work that Lil did with the animals. Great story and I would love to see what happens next. 🥰
awesome story sorry we didn't get the wedding and news interview story of all the murders, maybe even what was found in the cave from his victims ... i enjoyed this thank you
It’s hard to believe they were so careless knowing a killer is after them. After the intensity of setting guard and precautions, it was all ignored in the end. So silly.
Cannot understand how… when everyone was so paranoid about security… how it is that people just kept walking into Lily’s cabin without the cabin having the doors locked at all hours of the day and night. If Lil didn’t want Cooper in her cabin, why didn’t she just keep the door locked? Wasn’t she afraid of the killer? That would be reason enough to lock her cabin doors at all hours
Yup, a ton of inconsistencies. So obvious this is a romance writer, not a crime writer. I used this as a sleep story and cos I'm a bit sick right now. Otherwise wouldn't have bothered to get to the end
Nora Robert's must have a sex addition. Just when she gets to actual story she goes to half a chapter of sex. Maybe she thinks her readers don't know what sex is about.
Kinda weird novel. I enjoyed the wildlife and tracking details but the romance was 🙄 and the mystery not well developed. For such a long book not much happened. Worked well as a sleep story but nothing to write home about (oh, and the narrator can't do credible distressed female voices - just makes it melodramatic, almost comical)
Yes, but I don't think the narrator helped there. Became increasingly obvious that he can't do distressed female voices. That voice he did for Jenna from the time she was taken 🤢. Not that I don't agree with you about the romance plot 🙄
I thought the development of the mystery about Ethan was well written. BUT I did NOT appreciate the pornographic approach in the description of sex acts and of talk about sex (especially between the women.🥹
It is so tranquil to lose myself in your stories. Away from the pain and loneliness. I am grateful.
I have listened to 10 of Nora Roberts' audio books and enjoyed them all but this was the best story by far. A gripping yarn!
Nora Roberts is the most versatile and prolific author on the planet! I especially love JD Robb (Eve Dallas detective NY 2050 ! ❤

Sex makes you deff, dumm and blynd.
duh.
So much whining, rejection, and peevishness in this story.

I could've done without the romance plot entirely. TBH the only thing I found interesting was the wildlife stuff and the tracking
Yepp... her sex addition is addictive.

Such a whining angry main female character. Just about whole part 2. Not one of my favorite Nora Robert's books
