I love Nora Roberts books, easy , sweet mushy reads...I've listened to many now but as much as I liked this book typical Nora Roberts the narrator's interpretation of Trenton's Boston accent as I am from Boston was appalling and laughable.. at times he sounded like he was Russian other times he sounded like a New York mobster but never once did he sound like he was from Boston... And to make it even worse Trenton was supposed to be this wealthy affluent business man but the accent made him sound like some kind of thug...lol
Not as bad as I remembered (that's not saying much fyi) but difficult to get past the ludicrous idea of a guy who needs to buy a property repeatedly pissing off 1 of the owners. Can we say clumsy arrogance?
I don’t think she’s being rude. It is a good point that many American narrators could learn to pronounce place names properly. Now that we all have the internet it just seems like professionalism to do so.

I couldn't agree with you more...hugh overall fan...but poor Trenton. It was hard to get past the awful accent.
