Hi i'm old school the key you mention we called it a coupling and I broke many of them hopping, and sanded and replaced the brushes on the armature , brings back allot of memories from my Lowrider days in El Paso Tx. 75 Monte Carlo and 77 T Bird . Running on 14 by by 520s

I'm 60. My 1st care was lifted. I was known are the east bay. Should take the pump apart and show metal gears and clips. If ever your pump spins while powered, your key is spun.
Alex, thanks again for your videos. I have a quick question if I wanna swap my motors to test if in fact my front motor is bad, should I be aware of the hydraulic fluid or is it seal inside the pump. I would definitely buy from your website for sharing your products and knowledge brother. Thanks
And make a video on cutting out front cylinder holes...and explain what cars u need to offset the hole from original shock hole and on which cars u can drill out using the shock hole... Thanks...

Yes it can be put back together it's a little tricky if you haven't don't it before but you have to push the brushes back into the retainers as you slide it over the armature
I have some showtime pumps on my car I recently purchased The pump setup is not working I think it’s the high pressure “o” ring When I activate the rear pump. It raises the car then drop. It sounds like the motor run backwards when the system drops. I checked and don’t believe it’s the dump valves. Do you have any information to help lead me in the correct direction Thanks
My pump will spin but wont lift my car..i jacked it up with floor jacks and i hitt the switches and when i took floor jacks up my car stayed up..i again hit the switches down my car did go down but it wont go back up by hitting switches..ive had my set up from u guys for 1 month...what do you think i qrong with my pump? Please help..already swapped motor side and key is good..still wont work 😫..please help

Well the easiest way to determine whats mad would be to swap the motor from one pumo to the other is the noise transfers from one pump to the other its going to be ur motor is it stay making the same noise on the pump thay was originally making noise u k ow its going to be ur gear. Cuz u switch the motors from the front to the back

Back in 1982 , My T Bird came out on Q-VO magazine for best in class and peoples choice , I was 17 years old

@@joseluna7054 yes it ended up being just the key inside the pump head lol got a replacement for like $10 and it works perfectly now

How do you prime the pumps if we already hooked them up to the car without having to take them back out😢

why no washers on the tank bolts to protect the block and backing plate?
What happens if you dont use a backing plate?

You can but it's a uni body vehicle so you'll definitely need to brace the car up since there isn't any frame

Depends on your block depth and size of bolt put them in by hand and check to see what will work for you normally on our stuff 2 will work
