Different is not always better, of course you know this I'm certain. The difference here with the Payton/Brees era guys is that we had a sample size of DA as a head coach with the Raiders. Mickey decided to ignore the results and gave him another opportunity. We haven't seen AG as a head coach yet...I think he'd instill toughness, accountability and most importantly, attitude. Maybe the defense will learn how to tackle again. My choice would be Mike V, but I wouldn't be upset with AG.
No, the organization needs to interview as many qualified candidates as possible. If Glenn is the guy then I’m super happy, but let’s not go on a hire them because of Drew thing.
Aaron Glenn is a who Dat native he coached at Tulane and with Sean Payton for a while people got a know Dennis Allen was not A bad coach It’s just when you a defense minded coach you have to have a good offensive coordinator to call plays or else is just not gonna work
With all due respect to Saints fans, most are very knowledgeable, but very emotional. Aaron Glenn and Dan Campbell are killing it in Detroit. We'd be fools to not considerate it. He and Sean Payton are not the same.
Matt I support you and agree on a lot and I understand you cannot say everything you want to and I get it!! A.G. just don't stand a chance of what we are about to deal with as a team!! He will not get a fair shot and should avoid the job!! Because our next head coach will go down with them team!!
Here's what I would like to see.. A head coach who can evaluate talent and know how to make full use of the talent he has. If he has a CB who is good at press coverage, make use of his talents. You have a guy who is better at zone coverages make use of those talents. Someone who can evaluate college talent and make use of the talent he has. I like Aaron Glenn in all those categories.
I have no problem, bringing Drew Brees in as a offensive coordinator or GM he A Top 10 Quarterback of all time and he will tell rookie quarterback, or veteran quarterback to take what the defense give you not trying to force things that not there
He'll no They shouldn't listen to Brees. If they hire Aaron Glenn, I'm going to be an antagonist against the Saints bc what happens the next 3 years, they did to themselves. The connection to Payton and Brees is why we suck and why we are where we are.
I hate how people say “oh he has ties with such an such he’s gonna run similar stuff to (that person)” no true whatsoever they all take bits from the minds they’ve studied under. I don’t think Arron is gonna run things like Sean because this is a different era of football and he doesn’t have drew as his quarterback. And if he brings similarities of a head coach in the past he’s currently under the nfls best coach rn so why wouldn’t you want any of that in your building for a team that is poorly lead and disciplined
Seem like your confused Matt, you dont want a coach with ties under payton, but you dont mind Joe Brady? Btw he was under Sean Payton aswell for two years lol
Drew is gonna endorse anybody from his era with the Saints...might be a moot point...the Jets are really interested in Glenn. I think that's his landing spot.
Drew and Sean don't give a damn about the Saints succeeding. No offense, they just don't care anymore. If anything, it probably would sting them to see us to become relevant again anytime soon. If Drew wants us to win, come and be a qb coach lol.
No get away from all Sean Payton tree members.. Drew held us hostage for years when he should have retired and folks love all those empty stats. He was great but the defense won that ring...that's why bounty gate blew up...80k yards and only playoffs 50% of the time and never took a pay cut, and stayed 3 years too long...
Drew endorsed DA too. Leave Drew out of it.
To be fair 90% of us all did
Yyyyyyyyep
@@SaintJones25I am in the 10 percent that didn't want DA.
But we knew dennis was a trash head coach already.....
We'd be better off Drew suiting up as QB 2 next year rather than taking advise from someone that has never coached or managed in the NFL.

I mean Veabel is more than likely gonna be heading to New England so if not Aaron Glenn who else besides Brady and Flores

I agree
I agree
Drew as GM I’m all in🔥
With all due respect to Saints fans, most are very knowledgeable, but very emotional. Aaron Glenn and Dan Campbell are killing it in Detroit. We'd be fools to not considerate it. He and Sean Payton are not the same.
If you don’t want sean peyton lay overs then you shouldn’t want joe Brady neither so don’t be hypocritical with your takes
Difference is Dennis Allen ain’t a leader of man nor a winner 😂
Drew should be in the Organization in some capacity. He’s the Greatest Saint Ever !

I like AG but Joe Brady would be great here I think

That is not why we suck. It's simply bcuz DA was a proven bad HC and the front office ignored it. We don't know anything about Aaron Glenn.

Loomis is going to definitely listen to Brees. Mickey cannot think for himself because he doesn't know what he is doing.
Lmao 420 and bro starts coughing 😂😂😂
Enough of the defensive minded coaches. We need an offensive overhaul.
We changed our offense. We needed a couple OL pieces and healthy receivers. Defense was underwhelming this year
Hell bring Drew in as the Head Coach 😅
So, you are wrong Dennis Allen came from the Oakland Raiders era not the Drew and Peyton era
UH, he was Payton's DC for years............REMEMBER?
Why should we if he won't endorse Mickey Loomis getting fired?
Seem like your confused Matt, you dont want a coach with ties under payton, but you dont mind Joe Brady? Btw he was under Sean Payton aswell for two years lol
Drew is gonna endorse anybody from his era with the Saints...might be a moot point...the Jets are really interested in Glenn. I think that's his landing spot.
Main problem with Aaron Glenn is he's a DC. Modern era of football is OFFENSIVELY minded.
Cousin Eddy for HC.
I got a question for you, Mascona.. Why won't He (Drew Brees) throw his hat in the coaching search List...
He likes the quality time with his family. Coaching is definitely a commitment that takes that time away.
He may have the leadership of a a coach but idk about Xs and Os. Hes only really coach his kids leagues
Might as well hire Teddy Bridgewater 😂
I think Drew could be a (great) qb coach if he could have a say in our next qb. No one can save Derek.
To be honest the Saints don't have alot to offer a coach. So, we may just get what is left from the pick. Just being honest.😢
Drew and Sean don't give a damn about the Saints succeeding. No offense, they just don't care anymore. If anything, it probably would sting them to see us to become relevant again anytime soon. If Drew wants us to win, come and be a qb coach lol.

I do not want Joe Brady either. Vrabel is going to the Patriots. Stop putting vrabel in the lists
I love you Drew but stay away from my team
Don’t nobody want Joe Brady,,
The saints will not hire a black head coach that want the city is there behind the world
Can we replace the idiot elephant in the room...Micky Loomis?? Possibly the worst GM in the league
Drew bad luck after he retired
It's because he black
ABSOLUTELY STUPID
