Thriller Gen is good imo, so I decided to make an alt mix of it! I think this came out pretty good! I think I did a good job at it, and I'm really proud of how it came out, and I think all my artists did amazing with the art they made for it aswell!

1:27 first of all THIS MOMMENT 💖💖💖second, you knocked it out of the park with this remix, this is PEAK, the vocals were reeeeally well executed, the voice lines were on point, i don't even have much to say lmaoajkjf, what i love the most about this is how different it sounds from regular thriller gen, that's why it deserves it's own name, it's basically an entier new song, and i love how the different style reflects that while keeping the tone and vibe of the character, also AWESOME VISUALIZERS 👏👏👏👏✨✨

I love how the start has rewrite straight up say "are, you, rea-dy" with his voice instead of just making it sound like he says that with his vocals in the original. Definitely a nice detail
edit: after listening a few times, I hear that cycles reference when rewrite says he's "all" as if he's basically pretending to be lord x, xeno, and majin

Anyway, the fact that you did an alternate song on rewrite is absolutely astonishing.
This took my favorite aspect of the original song- the thing that made me like it more than Trinity- and amped it up to the max. The vocals feel meshed with the chromatic in a way that could at times make them feel as though they were one in the same! The clever blending at the beginning of the song is so satisfying, something I wish FNF songs would do more often. Also Rewrite's lines in general are perfectly enigmatic and encompass the character to a disturbing degree. I love the "I AM GOD" fakeouts, it makes Rewrite stand out a lot. If anything "I am SONIC" feels a little more disturbing in an inexplicable way, and "I am all" is also incredibly uncanny in a weird, indescribable way too. It could also double as a Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) reference if you stretch it-
"Be not afraid, it's all okay. Let's play a game, for old time's sake." I dunno why, but this feels less like an omnipotent being taunting you, and more like an old friend trying to comfort you, yet considering who this is it feels uncanny and wrong at the same time, which- yeah, that's Rewrite. This variant on him could 100% convince me he was a good guy and honestly I'd believe him.

Also"be not afraid" is a clever play on the theme of god and angels. you know exe's phrase after all

For some reason Rewrite saying “It’s all okay” is really comforting and idk why
I honestly thought he was gonna say "I am god" but instead "I am Sonic." That kinda means he's actually hiding what he is instead saying it like other EXEs. I also liked how it changed to 3d.
That or if we take it in a litteral sense he didnt tell us WHAT he is. He told us WHO he is, meaning he didnt lie, or hide anything

I think this is the most similar sonic of all of these variations. He's just more calm, collected, and more mysterious. But still has the demonic side as well as the fun loving side that sonic is more memorable for

My favorite parts are "Be not afraid" (A line commonly used by angels with horrifying appearances, but here it could mean the opposite: A demonic entity with a welcoming appearance) and "Let's play a game for old time's sake." (An obvious reference to Lord X/PC Port).
It is interesting to think of. Biblically, most angels are downright lovecraft nightmare fuel. I REALLY wish I could find an art piece of that passage in the gospels where all of the heavenly hosts tell the shepards the good news and sing, only it's biblically accurate angels.
Likewise, it makes too much sense that demons would wear human shapes. The better to entice man to stray and lul them into mistakes.

I just realized as soon as this started that BF's not using his undying phoenix vocals. Perhaps hinting at a alternative mix of trinity. Where he uses his undying phoenix vocals in the last part where rewrite speaks.
