(I assume you meant him rather than the FNF Xeno, since you mentioned canon stuff.) Also, while 2011X/Lord X is definitely obsessed with Sonic to an extent, his fanaticism seems noticably toned down compared to previous iterations of the character.
Okay but can we talk about how BRILLIANT GF's design is in the background? From the smooth as hell animation of her head turning and facial expression changing depending on whose singing, to the fact that she raises her tail everytime it's BF's turn and the tail reveals a cute little heart symbol on it? Absolute peak, such a small detail but it gives a lot of character to a mod that's already OOZING with it from top to bottom
I love that someone noticed that, I also really love these small details, it's really cool having stuff like this in mods, just makes them so much more alive!
For those who dont know MC-X stands for Mystcrimson X, hes the sonic.exe from the og game (the one Markiplier played) he Mystcrimson is the guy that made the game, he differs from the og creepypasta version of X and 2011x (current canon) mainly because the game had many inconsistencies (red shoes, marble zone being the eggman level, etc)
I LOVE this mod. I like the fact that X just embraced the absurdity of his appearance by being cartoonish, as well as the souls actually looking like souls instead of who they once were but with black eyes. The art is pretty damn good too. But if I had to change anything, at 2:29 I’d put MC-X in the title screen, make the SONIC text read out the chorus’s vocals, and make make the subtitle read out X’s vocals. Other than that, P E R F E C T .

Finally, an "Original/My5tcrimson Sonic.EXE" thingy in the modern day that _doesn't_ feel the need to warp the character's design or personality beyond recognition, while still claiming they're totally the true real first original guy! Complaining about new stuff not being old stuff like an old man aside, *I love this mod!!* It doesn't try to take itself overly seriously, but it doesn't reduce EXE to an annoying ironic joke either. The art for X reminds me heavily of old Sonic.EXE fan art, and the lyrics are both well written and fully in-character for X! I especially love the title screen recreation. I swear I've seen something like that while looking through pre-fnf deviantart uploads.

I wasn't expecting much out of this mod but I downloaded it nonetheless due to the recent absence in FNF mods lately. Holy SHIT, I was not expecting this gem of a song. It's not reinventing the genre or anything but the vocals and visuals all come together make an extremely enjoyable experience. I also like their take on X, making him a more playful and childish variant of himself rather than the bloodlusted god we know today. May I add that I'm glad they changed BF's vocals instead of keeping the beep boop things. The long drawn out electric sounding vocals really elevate the song which would otherwise just be another boring FNF mod with the same vocals. One extra cookie for the Michael Jackson outfit in the finale.
as i have listened to this song for hours now its the first sonic.exe mod that doesnt use 1. green hill zone, 2. that drowning theme 3. metalic madness zone in the song and the outfit is cool on mc-x and the backup singer souls make this fire oh and the voice acting makes way past cool good job to the team who was behind this 10/10 song from me
Im always wondering what are the used sample all matched together but separately because they all work so well together to give an Michael Jackson appel to the song as an rnb genre type song i like to think the base sample taken is back streets back by backstreet boys its like the inst of that song but saturated and put together same with mxc's voice its really neat to think about to me
I love this song to pieces, but BF’s chromatic is a bit low pitched, and his atonal SUCKS ASS. The ending where BF has the biggest frown know to man, with Mc.X behind him is also hilarious.
