Studio Series Bonecrusher is Thousand times much better than deluxe Bonecrusher from the 2007 line, as it has more details and much more accurate! I loved how Bonecrusher stands out in his voyager form!
Check out the highway scene in Slo Mo - trust me, this Bonecrusher is in scale. Its a bit like how everyone says lockdown should be about the same height as prime, while if you slow the movie down and take a good look hes a lot shorter. Great review tho dude! Looking forward to the others. Would love to see you take a look at siege Megatron!
Thank you! & yeah the scale may be correct, I just always thought he was a bit bigger & I sold Megatron a while back, the siege line just isn’t for me really, with the exception of shockwave! Thanks for checking the review out!
@@PrimeVsPrime Your missing out buddy! Some of the best built and painted figures hasbros doing right now. I know your primarily a movie guy, so I gotta ask - is it the G1 ashtetic your not into? With that in mind, how do you find the new g1 designs Travis Knight pushed in Bumblebee? BTW I was thinking alot of the siege figures would work great for cybertronian movie figures from the start of BB :) especially Soundwave, Starscream etc. Hopefully we get SS versions!
I know, the quality on the Optimus and Megatron was so good it’s id rather focus primarily on one line and ensure I get all of the figures from that line rather than buying another that I don’t like as much. I’ll probably rebuy them or something when they go on sale it’s just it’s not a line I’m super eager to get early. I do quite like their designs though.
@@PrimeVsPrime I get that man. Currently the only TF line I collect is Masterpiece, but since I split my cash between those, Black Series and Marvel Legends, there's days I wish I focused on the one thing, I just love em all too much!
I just picked up this guy a few days ago - mostly because I was itching to get another bot and already had all of the rest available. Going in with no anticipation other than something new to fiddle with, I am extremely pleased! I have all of the other Studio Series that are out so far (as well as Siege), and Bonecrusher is definitely on my short list of favorites. Other than the waist he is highly poseable and playable, and with a few extra paint apps (which I do for most of the SSs) he is awesome. I find myself transforming him back and forth like a fidget toy, and I am able to get lots of great poses. So anyway, it may not be for everyone, but he's a winner to me. Thanks for all you do, and keep up the great reviews!
I’m satisfied with the scale of Bonecrusher. Starscream and Optimus are actually taller than him, and he was big enough to tackle Optimus. Much better than the deluxe Bonecrusher. And yes PLEEEEEAAASE studio series release at 2007 Megatron!! Movie 2 and 3 Megatron’s just doesn’t cut it!!
PrimeVsPrime can’t wait 😁👏 Also, you could include images at the end of each video of ur figure that is being reviewed in action poses with or without other figures for more comparisons, scenery, and epicness from ur end
Bonecrusher will always have a special place in my heart as he was my first live action TF action figure ever. Comparing it to my '07 Deluxe one, this one has weaker paint apps but better body proportions and scale. He's like that chubby short temperamental bully that follows the gang
It took me over a month, but I have finally saved up enough money to buy this figure. As I’m writing this, it has just been ordered and will arrive in the near future
only reason why i would still buy this is to complete my studio series decepticons line up...i have purchased the dream factory version over the holiday and wow probably the definitive version of bonecrusher ever made!!
Thanks a lot most videos that reviewed him were super fast with the transformation and I couldn’t see what was going on but you explain it step by step thanks
just got this toy today. transformations great, paint job is actually ok for me but there's definitely some room for improvement on the quality control part
I also feel let down by this Bonecrusher. This is nothing compared to what 3rd party transformers Dream Factory has done with their version of Bonecrusher (unlicensed name - Steel Claw). It is an original mold and not even an oversized copy of Hasbro's licensed version. I am surprised that 3rd party Chinese companies can do a better job in terms of mold, paint applications, details, etc.
@@dragoonunleashed9962 yes and even if we are talking about Alien Attack's deluxe size Mirage (Firage) compared to Hasbro's deluxe class release of the same character, the 3rd party one still blows Hasbro's licensed product out of the water. I am just saying 3rd party's quality in general are far superior than these.
arkitotoyz simply bc Dream Factory Bonecrusher will cost much more than what Hasbro already set out for their Voyager figures (30$). If I remember correctly, the DF version cost around 90$, 3 times the price of this one. So yeah, they should really achieve that much quality for their version to make up for their price. Hasbro wants to focus more on the general customers, not just the fans, so apparently they are doing their figures with just the decent quality compromised with the low price tho.
I noticed you don't really like him. Unlike many people, I won't criticize you. It's your opinion. I like him, because that's my opinion. I respect your opinion.
Imagine if the 2007 Megatron gets an SS figure... Aside from that, seeing the MV1 Decepticon crew bar Megatron (I can safely pretend he's still frozen) puts a smile on my face.

Well in terms of scale, Bonecrusher should have atleast as much physical mass as Optimus, but like the other Decepticons, he's designed to stand wider then he is tall. Most of the decepticons like Starscream, Bonecrusher, Brawl, and Blackout would all stand taller then Optimus if they weren't designed as wide and bulky as they are.

That scene when he tackles Prime with the burning bus in the background is still my favorite scene in any of the Bay movies. The CGI is top notch.
