This was so catchy upon it's release, and Orianthi was poised to be yhe next big thing. Almost as soon as her recording deal was done she steered *hard* into the music she wanted to do and ran away screaming from any pop/rock trappings. She's immensely talented and worth all praise she gets.
I am a huge fan of the two of you I really really enjoy watching you guys you got a lot of Charisma you guys are Dynamic I mean you guys are really great keep up this amazing work I'm passing the word
I have always loved this song since it came out not only because if the guitar but the subject matter is so awesome and makes you stop and think. Love it.
Ori is without a doubt the best guitarist to come out of Australia. She has shredded on stage with Carlos Santana when she was 18 and was the lead guitarist on stage for Michael Jackson when he died. Also did a vid called highly strung with Steve Vai.
@@jamescurfman3284 No, but so what? Do you think playing guitar for Michael Jackson is the pinnacle of success? If that's the case, that's pretty pathetic. You obviously have not listened to many guitar players.
@@micko11154 So what? Okay, smart-ass. YOU decided to bring up another great guitarist in a reaction video that is for somebody else. I am going to point out a couple of VERY OBVIOUS flaws in your line of thinking that you 'somehow' overlooked while trying to discredit Orianthi. Michael Jackson is undisputedly one of The Greats among musicians and performers. Orianthi got a GREAT chance to work with him. MJ was very well-known for being a PERFECTIONIST, which is one of the reasons he is counted among The Greats. That means that Ori had to be AWESOME and AMAZING and be able to duplicate her playing FLAWLESSLY, EVERY TIME, or she would not have been chosen to work with MJ. Where's Tommy in that conversation? Why did MJ NOT choose him? How did Orianthi get the spot instead? No hate towards Tommy at all, by the way. I am just saying, Ori is really up there or she would not have been anywhere near MJ. Your attempt to shit on her is really childish; EVERYBODY reading your stupid reply can see just how childish you are. THAT'S WHAT.
I LOVE Guitar music and you really have no idea at all about me. This is you making assumptions, thinking you are a smartass know-it-all when you really just outed yourself as a dumbass know-nothing in front of the entire channel. Congratulations, idiot.
4 Days To Go Until The Start Of The Opening Ceremony Of The Olympic Games Paris 2024 I Will Watch It In The Theatre Room On The Big Screen This Friday Bring On Paris 2024 I Cannot Believe It!
She was set to be Michael Jackson's guitarist on his "This is it" tour. If you watch that documentary she's in it a fair share with the rehearsals. She's awesome.
out of all the places to pause the song, they paused the superior, awesome, guitar solo, plus when they returned back to the song, it didn't have that perfect beginning when the guitar solo starts, it is just not the same, as if they didn't pause it write there!!!
Just watched this on RUclips for the first time today. In my opinion, she, Orianthi, is a mixture of both Slash and Courtney Love, Bette Davis Eyes and AC/DC, Jack and Meg White of The White Stripes (Fell In Love with a Girl, The Hardest Button to Button) and Brett and Allison Robertson of The Donnas (Fall Behind Me, Don't Wait Up For Me). Soooooo, take THAT Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, just to name a few ❤️🥁👱♀️🎸🔥🙂👹✝️💒🙏👍🤟👦👩.
Orianthi with Steve Vai... "Highly Strung"... No lyrics. They are both shredding the guitar in a manner that the title suggests. Like a duel or in tandem.
Orianthi is one of the best Aussie talents out there; hardworking, talented and a sweet soul too
✨💜✨

Thanks dudes. I used to love this. Catchy as a mofo! But, in recent years I'd forgotten about it. Great stuff!
I forgot about this song until this reaction. It's a banger though.
First time listening to this song and seeing her play guitar was mind blowing straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yeh well, that's a pretty broad statement, she is not Tommy Emmanuel m8!
@@micko11154 Did Tommy ever play for Michael Jackson?

U have to check out the video of her and Richie sambora doing living on a prayer acoustic it’s amazing
Thank God you guys didn't pause the video during the awesome guitar solo haha
Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie OI OI Oi. Aussie talent on show again, must be something in the beers down under. Or is it just normal?

I think that was the year the song came out. Somewhere around 2009 anyway 😊
There is a live version of her doing VooDoo Chile when she was younger. It won't get blocked and it kicks butt.
I was gonna get so pissed of dude paused the song during the solo lol.

I love this song from high school, she is a hottie and a great guitarist which is why Michael Jackson and Alice Cooper had her as their guitarist
