Lesson no 2, always and always make sure you set a low withdrawal limit on your card. This you can manage on your banking app. R24k is no child's play to lose like that.

step 1 : dont let people watch you enter your pin. step 2 : bank should have been called immediately. cant take out money if the card and pin number doesn't work. this can take like 5 minutes tops.

They might not have 50 years left. They looked at least 35 years old
That also happened to me but the securities were watching and they caught the man while the other guy told me to put my pin and I just decided to cancel but my card wasn't coming out and he said I should just put my pin, the securities got to us and they called us with the man being held. They told me the man who spoke to me first had my card and that the boy wad trying to get my pin.
I think justice is finally being done to these card scammers.
Justice is short lived. These criminals get released before their sentence on all kind of grounds.

This happened to me as a student. Lucky I only had a R100 in there. Since then I don't let anyone near me!
Happened to me in grade 11, luckily I just had R50. I see these guys mainly target students and the elderly.
I saw the same guy a year later, in the same atm, running the same scam. Stared him in the eyes to let him know I remember 😡

This happened to us a week ago. Johannesburg, Ghandi square, TWICE with only one successful attempt. First time it was old men and they got the pin, took out R1 500 which was the daily limit, we managed to transfer the rest of the money to my account. Now before we got out to withdraw the seriously needed cash I decreased my limit to the needed amount, R200. Same place but different ATM with good looking guys 😎 this time God saw us through coz I snatched that catched that card under his cash and he created a scene. All this happened with security around!!

I saw some ATM thieves robbing another lady yesterday in Durban west street 320, I was so tempted to shoot them all but my wife stopped me. I reported it to the security n I also called the police but they never came. My heart is still broken even today.

There are times when I believe everybody deserves a second chance. We seldomly rarely are aware of "why" people stoop to these levels. I personally have visited the inside of a jail cell , and have even said that "I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to be there"... But these two right here, Should be locked underneath the jail and have the key thrown away. To victimize those that are only trying to better themselves is an unforgiving offence.

This happen to me 1time but luckily in the process my wife notices on whats happening in the store bank and she disturbed them and then they ran off with my card...luckily no pin.....and in my acc was around 100k

That's is why it is important to cancel the ATM at least four times before you put your card there
after realizing your card is gon never panic run strait to the bank and cancel it they wont make you cue
