You missed some good history on the Cutter Theater, Larsen house, Historic Washington Hotel, the Pend Oreille apartments. The rail road. The mine was/is in the process of being bought out. Washington Rock is a climbing Mecca, the International Selkirk Loop is a scenic and Historic road trip worth mentioning.
The town hosts a bigfoot festival, and the elves on main street are a time tested tradition, among other events.
I have missed these tours of the Northwest. I did not know anything about Metaline Falls, and now I do. Thanks!
Great job! You did a terrific job of describing Metaline Falls. I spent ten years of my early life there in the 70s and you nailed the history!
