They cannot create a 3x in the current housing with a 1024 sensor. Math and physics don’t allow it, that’s why it’s 1.75x and why the 1280 RS75 is only 2x with a 75mm lens. It will take a giant lens and a very long focal length. Unless some breakthrough is made, it’s currently just not possible without a very long scope and gigantic lens.

@Justin Poole. I have the Trionyx and love it. But gee whiz can they program the software to take out the Fusion part. Just flip back and forth from NV to Thermal. I would send it in and pay for it to be done!!!! Bought it from the best. Outdoor Legacy
We spoke with them in private about this and they said this was a huge discussion but if they included the Thermion XL50 then then they needed to include the Merger XL50 since it’s the same price. And then what about the guys who paid $2,000 less and bought the Merger and Thermion XP50 LRF and XG50 LRF? It’s never ending. It’s a tough decision but the option was, set a cut off date or not offer it to anyone, ever. There is no good way to go back in time and only select certain models. We understand the frustration but the good news is, what you were promised when you bought the scope is still there. Nothing changed. And you still have a warranty for almost 3 years so this is nothing that even comes into play for several years down the road. AGM went through the same thing when they made the change from 3 to 5 years last January and they set the same cut off date of Jan 1st. They knew it wouldn’t make everyone happy but the change had to be made one way or another. Again, we sympathize but trust me when I tell you that these companies do care and worry about past customer satisfaction but they are in between a rock and a hard place. Thanks for watching.
I would like to be able to get a eye cup for my thermion it has been months and still not available I love my CA 50 lrf but need to be able to get parts

You can normally purchase one on Pulsar USA’s website but I think they’ve been out of stock but I’d give them a call.
I can’t wait to see what is on the horizon for 2024. Sold my XP50 Pro with hopes to replace it with something new.
Lots of exciting stuff but the XP50 Pro is going to be hard to beat.
