I’m so worried they might get snubbed during awards season because acting awards are often split by gender (Best Actor vs Best Actress) and the people in charge of the awards might choose to leave them out in general instead of choosing to nominate them in one category or the other. Emma's acting in HotD, especially, as a mum, is astounding. When she was doing that birthing scenes, it was as if you could feel the physical pain. And when she was crowned, the look of a grieving daughter, and mother, and to be given that honor, and to be entrusted with the crown, her facial acting was so believable. Truly excellent.
Emma's physical acting is amazing, when they're crying hearing about Luc you can't even see Emma's face and their body is telling you how upset they are. Emma does self comforting leg touches which is so human and real to what people do in extreme grief or emotion.

Matt Smith, in every episode he nailed it 2. Paddy considine we all know abt his marvelous job 👌 3. Milly alcock did an amazing job portraying young Princess 4. The actor plays Otto idk his name 5. Emma Darcy wonderful stole the last episode by their incredible performance 6. Ewan Mitchell, he had a very less screen time but he nailed it we will see him in next seasons he is amazing 7. They have been promoted TOGETHER in promos, posters, billboards etc. I honestly think they have very little chemistry off screen thats why. add to the drastic difference of Emma off costume (not that it is bad) and it would kinda be so off from the Rhaenyra and Daemon aesthetic. All TV shows that are a couple in the series promote together or have a sit down interview together. atleast once. There is none for Emma and Matt (as themselves).
