I was there！You could never imagine how amazing it was when I became part of the entire performance, by just singing the chorus with Hua, then I felt the internal power that raised me up！Hua is really a great musician and great artist！

Hua Chenyu composed a song called "Flower in a Small Town" as a tribute to his late mother who passed away from cancer. The instrumental version of the song incorporates various traditional Chinese musical instruments such as the bianzhong (chime bells) and suona (double-reed horn)...etc. It would be a great choice for Joe to listen to.

Hua Chun Yu is not only a fantastic singer, he is also a talented composer. All the songs are unique and versatile.
HuaHua always has nature destruction, human sufferings such depression, abuse, bullying and animal welfare at heart. He is very gentle, humble, caring and real. He shown very positive attitude towards anti-fans attacks by become stronger and better, brushing them off as irritating ants 😀

I'm British too. Gave up on most mainstream music in UK and US. For me, Hua Hua is David Bowie, Freddie, Steven Tyler, George Michael, Bruno Mars and Elton John rolled into one. He sings Rock, Rap, Reggae, Broadway, Pop, SynthPop, Electronic, Traditional Chinese. He loves the anthemic songs with crowd input. I'd suggest "God Tree" from these Concerts. Stunning. And his descent is 😳 Just so many songs to choose from. Muse, Radiohead, Linkin Park... are who HE grew up listening to. So influenced by Rock of the 1980s and 1990s.

I usually say that Hua Chenyu is the D. Bowie spiritual son... but you're right, all of my 70's and 80's favourite singers are wrapped in his talents... This song is not his most spectacular but it's full of emotions...
@@Tatooa2001 absolutely Bowie is the nearest to Hua Hua. Chameleon like in looks and genres of music. Funnily, I prefer Hua Hua's angst ridden songs to his happy ones. But some of the happy ones/not Hua Hua's best... would still be the best that other singers could do.
He is more than just a singer, he is a luminary music artist. I firmly believe that those who criticize him lack a genuine understanding of his music and will never grasp the depth of his creative talent. Many of them are professionals haters and the rest of them are simply followers who just like to follow the crowd.

Hua Hua is a phenomenon. Agree with all the comments about how eclectic and versatile he is. I was talking to a friend who asked for a recommendation, and rattled off about 15 songs to get close to giving her a handle on his range.

(Hua Chenyu's on-site suggestion: Concert>Music variety show>Entertainment variety show, Fan filming is more atmospheric than the official filming, but may include noise, the official filming may be clearer but it cannot record the chorus of fans, of course everything is different It's not as good as people listening to his music live, it's amazing)

All of Hua Hua's Mars concerts are amazing but since 2021, he's started to hold them in amusement parks, with afternoon concert more like festivals with singing unplugged songs and playing games with the audience, and evening concerts as you've just watched, whole day concert! I hope you would react next to his songs Illusion and Reality, or Airplane mode. Your reaction is one of best if not THE best of all reactions I have ever seen. I shared it with Hua Hua fans. If you will continue to react to him you will find many wonderful things. He's definitely the most eclectic musician mankind has ever seen and absolutely unpredictable. His concerts are fantastically produced. If you would react to the song called The God tree you would see the stage design and lights. It is produced by people who were involved in producing the opening and closing ceremonies of Olympic games and who are great fans of him.

I am glad you finally reacted to one of the top artistes in China! Though it is a beautiful song (I love it too), I feel it doesn’t reflect the full extent of Hua Chenyu’s capabilities as a singer-songwriter to people who are listening to him for the first time.
Personally I would have gone for Bullfighting, Madhouse and I Really Want to Love This World. Hua-Hua wrote the melodies and worked with lyricists to create so many meaningful songs which never fail to touch something deep within my soul.
He is amazing at re-arranging songs and making them his own! I was introduced to the world of Martians through his cover of Nunchucks, and bowled over by his subsequent performances on The Singer 2018 and 2020. You should also check out his recent covers such as Dancing Diva, Lucky as You and Enjoy.
You mentioned the huge structures on stage. To get the full impact, I suggest you check out his song God Tree in this same concert - the stage just blows me away! (ruclips.net/video/OBjsOfvuSd4/видео.html)
Since no one has mentioned it yet, he has been likened to David Bowie and Freddie Mercury - which kinds of give you the benchmark for his performances.
He is such a craftsman when it comes to his music - he sang the chorus for Illusion & Reality and Lucky as You because he was very specific in the feel and tone he wanted to create. This entailed singing and working on hundred/s of tracks which were layered to create the chorus.
I almost want to say that with his musicality and his ability to convey his feelings through his singing, he is the full package but then I remember he can’t really dance. He can do a little jig, but don’t expect K-pop dance standards. Still, I am a huge fan of his!

He is too talented, that's why the haters, you can call them antis or ant, are doing everything to stop him. There are more and more fake bad videos about him on RUclips just to get views and tries to lessen his fans.
You should try one of his songs called "black and white artist" this is meant for the antis, you should try it.

@@iamsheep Maybe, but sticking HuaHua forever in the Singer 2018 little box is not very fair to such a prolific composer. 2018 is light years away in music, and it's only done to HuaHua; all other not even composers but just singers are reacted to their latest songs as they're released. To me, it's not an issue to recommend either of Hua's musics in whatever order. 💗
