Oh you guys! I waited for a nice peaceful time to watch the podcast. I LOVE your enthusiasm for wool! You described how I feel very often with wool. I have started knitting with Nutiden (actually today) I cast on the Lagom after you showed yours, Carmen 😂. I have lots of whirling swirling thoughts about what to knit in the Nutiden I have. Clearly, I’ll need more. Haha. Thank you for the deep thoughts you have articulated about how the wool moves you both. That’s exactly the right term. I often have wool that moves me. I didn’t go to Knit City this year but have been a few times and it’s just like “meeting up with your people “. Such a joyful feeling. ❤️ I’m excited to be able to go to the Edmonton Fibre Frolic in November. One of the chief reasons I’m going is to see Crux Fibre and Brittany in person and Anna from Longway Homestead. They are both doing things with wool that is very exciting to me. And of course to be with “my people”. 😊 Your podcast is so enjoyable. Thank you! 😊
I jump onto Ravelry often during it to check the patterns you show. I love so many of them. The monitor doesn’t do justice to the Nutiden colours. I found today when I took my Luckra outside and I nearly died! ❤ It’s so amazing! Inside, it’s a bit boring. You know what I mean. 😀

Oh my goodness, I wish it hadn't taken me 3 weeks to respond to this beautiful post! Thank you thank you for such kind words and we're so thrilled that we can connect with you and inspire your knitting! I would looove to see your Lagom if you want to dm me on insta (@carmen_acanadiangirl). And I guess you would have just been to the Edmonton Fibre Frolic? How was it? Did you meet Brittany and Anna? Such beautiful people and yes they are doing amazing things for Canadian fibre! I've been part of Anna's wool of the month club for the past year and it's always such a delight to see what each month will bring! And yes we absolutely understand when it comes to Nutiden indoors vs outdoors! It can be almost a completely different wool! Just love it so much! I'm actually knitting with unspun from Brittany right now and it's completely different but also equally glorious in its own right. Can't wait to talk about it no the next pod!
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write to us and tell us about the impact we're having. It just brings us such joy!!

So cool! I actually get to watch this still in Canada, one day before flying back to Germany ❤. My inspiredbyellenkal project got finished a couple of days ago, so also still in Canada and that just feels so right. Unfortunately I didn’t get around to any yarn shops here, but as Loretta said „that is only one more reason to come back in the future“. I would have loved to get hands on Cruxfiber wool but that seems a bit against her intention and also mine when it comes to shopping wool. I love to stay within Europe or even Germany to have my kind of low-mileage wool.

I also bought a grey and an off-white from earlier collections (Silhuett & Divkulla or smth). Pondering different patterns to use them for but realized the off white is quite scratchy so will need to rethink the Fernlyssweater by Liv Ulven I had in mind.
