Great collection/video you have some treasures there, few I haven’t got over my decades of collecting. I’m lucky enough to class Mark as a friend and have had a joint show with him in London 2013… my jewel in the crown is an original Vaughn sketch I stare at it daily. Cheers 🍻
I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet the late Vaughn. However, I have had several opportunities to meet & speak with Mark at several conventions over the years. (First time I met Mark was an uncanny experience: He resembled his late father so closely, it was downright spooky!)
i never made the link to Walt Kelly and disney haha. but once you said it, it clicked. i scored a junk waffel issue number 1 and 2 first print at an estate sale a couple years ago. really really happy about that. Bode's cobalt 60 was my first non mainstream comic when i was a kid. i love his style and definitely created a love of graffiti art in my brain. i also feel like Akira Toriyama was really influenced by Bode. just look at Toriyama's vehicle design.
ive got a cobalt tattoo as anternatve to a "gang" tattoo, my one and only ill ever get/have from being involved with some Peruvian skinheads a time i was doing graff; lol a drunk Zipper head xcon from south america giving me a cobalt 60 tat; it's a crappy, but legible one 🤣
Great collection, his work has been a large part of my art..........
got some gems there!

Thanks! Yes I was turned onto your work through Mark’s feed: keep it up!
What a different kind of art! Think I’ve never read something from this author, but now I surely want to know more about his work!
I’m very happy to turn you onto it! 🍻
Awesome video.
Some of those look similar to Ralph Bakshi style. Visually striking and interesting none the less.
This was wonderful. Nice to kick back and have such great illustration breeze by. Nicely done! Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!
I was a fan since 11--seeing Vaughn Bode's Sunspot in Heavy Metal magazine.

The 2 Zelazny books are being reprinted and offered in the new Previews, the same one that is offering the new book you worked on
Vaughn Bode is a GOD!!!!
Vaughan Bode was a genius, innovative... his son, Mark not so much, derivative, resting firmly on his dad's laurels...
👍

You're opening the book too far, you can break the binding and lower the value.
