    I really enjoy your videos! Here from Washington State looking thru your videos and dedicated job I can peak into the world my son is in now! He moved to Tampa just last week but he is already working there! Thank you again for your honesty and down earth comments. I enjoyed the other video showing a couple from the area. Eugene Oregon ( Washington- Oregon consider ourselves locals 😊) It gives an idea how locals are enjoying Tampa. Have a great week!!

    At the 2:05 mark in the video you show a drone image of a section of the development and there is a golf cart driving down the road. Could you tell us which section that is and what builder.

    If I had a community like this in Deltona, Volusia County, FL I would say c'est la vie and move out of my parents in a heart beat no matter the cost 🔥

    Moved to the Tampa area in June now moving back to NC. Taxes and CDD’s and HOA fees are ridiculous

    Any homes with pools???

    • @TampaFloridaLiving
      @TampaFloridaLiving  Год назад

      There are tons of pool homes, but with new construction you typically have to add it after you close. When shopping pool homes you have to look at resale homes.

    We looked into it before buying. For our budget, we would’ve had to go with a much smaller home and then get stuck paying their HOA, lagoon and CDD fees. To just break even on the internet, cable and lagoon incl. in those fees, we would’ve have to go to the lagoon 6+ times a month and live in a smaller home with less luxury features. Wasn’t worth it. We bought ten mins away from Epperson and Mirada, with a bigger home, community pool and go when we want for less money/fees.

      Makes sense. These type of communities make the most sense for those that love the amenities, but its not always best for every person. I think you made the best decision for your family!

      @@TampaFloridaLiving Mirada is nice, but I agree with the above comment! The economics must be considered. Nice video though!

    • @TampaFloridaLiving
      @TampaFloridaLiving  Год назад +2

      @@Twobarpsi i urge you to break down the fees. Lagoon access for the family is approx $40/monthly. Hoa is around $70. Cdd fees typically run a hair over $2000. So lets say just over $3k per year in fees. Wifi and cable run close to $100/ month or $1200/year so really you are left with $1800/year or $150/ month in fees for a pretty bad ass concept. If a standard pool would due for you then yes i agree it makes sense to buy elsewhere, but busch gardens charges more than the zoo to get in bc it has more rides and attractions. Just an analogy of course. An numbers are quick figures but you get the point.
