1. Middle way - Not too much. Not too less. Balance life. Excess is violence. Less is poverty. 2. Reasonable - Be mindful. Opposite with feeling. Capitism is feeling (more and more). Feeling = Like/dislike. 3. Immunity - Prepare for the unthinkable and self healing.

Stumbled on one of your videos, watched it, and the next ones, and the next one etc., with rising interest. Your philosophy is what I think the lifestyle that to-be survivalists (and doomsday preppers) awaits, when things go to their expectations. (I’m not a doomsday prepper, nor survivalist. It’s more like I have no other choice than to get my primary water supply from the air.) The perspective you gave me touched me deeply and will change the way I go about forever... I admire Jon's work and agree with Jon on more than 51% issues like self sufficiency. However I find the criticism of capitalism ridiculous. I lived in a communist country and nobody can convince me that there is any good or freedom in communism. The reason why Jon is allowed to own a piece of land, to sell his surplus vegetables, the money earned has any value and nobody steals / destroys Jon's produce is because of capitalism and freedom.
The background which you behind you, is it need or want? Now the richness is visible. Buildings and infrastructure were earlier natural but now it is seen to be materialistic. May be your net worth is increasing and hence background changes visible. Hope the background material and house is yours.
Make sure you serve all your titles to the corporations. Digital currency is coming, if the government companies still hold the title to your land then how will you pay the fees. They will force you to stop growing food

I only have sandals. Sometimes when they brake I go barefoot until I get to the store. Sometimes that takes a month. I highly recommend it.
